WeekAnchor Eight EA MT5 manages an eight-pair, long-only Forex portfolio from one chart. It anchors entries to the weekly open, uses daily ATR-based protective levels and normally enters early Monday for a roughly one-day holding cycle.
Eight pairs with separate controls
The basket contains GBPJPY, USDJPY, AUDJPY, EURJPY, AUDCHF, GBPCHF, CHFJPY and GBPUSD. Each has its own magic number, spread limit and sizing settings. The developer describes no grid, martingale or arbitrage. Five of the listed pairs involve JPY, so the portfolio remains exposed to a common yen-strength shock.
- Attach once to a liquid H1 Forex chart; GBPJPY H1 is the standard example.
- Choose fixed lots or per-pair percentage-risk sizing.
- Keep the spread filter enabled: weekly-open execution costs matter.
- Japanese public-holiday filtering skips yen-pair entries by default.
- Optional Crisis Guard and basket de-risk controls can reduce exposure, with trade-offs.
Sizing and protective options
Risk percentage is per pair, not a portfolio-wide limit. Wide stops of three times daily ATR can make calculated lots fall below the broker minimum, causing skipped entries. The current preset guide gives approximate full-trade thresholds of $10, 000 at 1%, $5, 000 at 2% and $1, 500 at 3% per pair. Fixed 0.01 can place orders on smaller balances, but that does not make an undersized account safe.
Current supplied presets leave the equity stop disabled. Crisis Guard is optional; the basket-activity de-risk feature only reduces lots and has no effect at 0.01 on the documented minimum-lot setup. Its full five-step sizing needs at least 0.05 per pair in that setup. Match the current preset to capital and test it on your broker.

Live monitoring and setup
The linked MQL 5 real-labelled HF Markets account showed +41.08% growth over 13 displayed weeks on 16 September 2026, with 78 trades and 3.90% relative equity drawdown. The developer explicitly says the signal’s changing settings are not mirrored by supplied presets. Our WeekAnchor Eight review separates that short live record from the longer simulations and explains current preset changes.
Use an always-on MT5 terminal or VPS for the short Monday entry window, make all basket symbols available and check their history. One chart manages the whole portfolio. Broker suffixes can be resolved automatically; raw/ECN spreads are preferable to disabling the filter.
