The Way Banks Actually Build Positions

Banks and institutions rarely take a whole position at a single price. They scale in over time, the same idea as dollar-cost averaging. PrismAlgo applies that idea with order averaging: it sometimes adds to a position in measured steps instead of staking everything on one entry.

Risk Profiles and Forex Sizing

A risk profile sets how PrismAlgo sizes positions for your balance, and you can change it at any time in the EA’s settings.

• Balanced: the default, with 0.01 Forex lot per $250.

From EA 2.50, every balance opens at least 0.01 lot, or your broker’s minimum, and there is no PrismAlgo lot cap; broker volume limits and margin still apply. On a small balance, 0.01 lot is a larger share of the account. Gold and Bitcoin keep their own sizing rules.
