NightAnchor EA MT5 trades night-session Forex mean reversion across up to twenty pairs from one chart. Two-sided limit entries, small profit targets and a time-decay exit ladder aim to capture a return toward the overnight price anchor.
Two-sided entries with a configurable trade pace
Around the New York close, the EA places buy limits below and sell limits above each enabled pair. A market-regime check can cancel pending entries before they fill. Targets are roughly eight to eleven pips, while a time-decay ladder lowers the target as a position ages. Trade pace ranges from 1.00 to 1.70; the default 1.60 is selective, while faster settings allow more fills.
- One MT5 chart manages the basket; USDCHF M5 is the recommended host.
- A hedging account is required; netting accounts are refused.
- Automatic symbol resolution and live broker-time/DST detection.
- Dashboard shows actual night-window spreads, exposure and idle reasons.
- Optional shock guard, trailing stop and news controls; several are off by default.
Hold-to-recovery is part of the design
Many trades close quickly, but losing positions can remain open into the next day and occasionally across a weekend. Per-pair stops are wide, about 40–80 pips, and gaps can produce losses beyond their nominal distance. The equity stop blocks new orders; it does not close existing positions. CHF concentration can make several pairs lose together.
The developer’s funding guidance is approximately 150, 000–320, 000 JPY equivalent per 0.01 lot, with a raw/tight-spread broker and 1:100 or higher recommended leverage. Higher risk presets increase combined exposure. Deploy one instance per account, during server daytime, and validate the actual trading window in the startup log.

Signal evidence and current controls
The linked real-labelled HF Markets signal showed +5.47% growth over 11 displayed weeks, 95 trades and 7.89% relative equity drawdown on 16 September 2026. Its current name identifies Shock Guard ON, unlike the default backtests. The latest release fixes the open-position cap, but simultaneous fills on one tick can still exceed it.
