About Yukon EA MT5
Four selectable gold strategies in one MT5 EA
Yukon MT5 is Daniel Stein’s XAUUSD trading robot with four independently selectable engines. It combines a gold grid, long and short price-action patterns, and swing breakouts. A daily market-state filter assesses trend, range and volatility before qualifying entries; each engine has its own magic number and sizing controls.
- Grid Classic: opens with momentum, adds equal-sized positions at regular intervals during adverse moves, and targets a basket exit.
- Pattern Long: selects long setups with an initial stop-loss and a trailing exit.
- Pattern Short: takes H1 short setups with a fixed stop and a planned 1:4 risk-to-reward target.
- Breakout: trades H1 swing breaks after a market-structure check, with an initial stop and trailing management.
Choose the exposure you want to manage
Run the stop-based engines without Grid Classic, or combine engines. The grid supports fixed lots or balance-based sizing, while the pattern and breakout engines size trades from a selected risk percentage. Equal grid lots still accumulate exposure as more positions open.
A configurable grid-basket equity threshold, daily-volatility pause, USD-news filtering and Friday position closure provide additional controls. The basket threshold is a closing trigger, not a guaranteed maximum account loss; execution conditions and other trades can produce larger drawdowns.
Account and news-feed requirements
Use an MT5 hedging account with your broker’s XAUUSD symbol. Capital requirements depend on the enabled engines, actual gold leverage, contract size and minimum lot. Allow https://revden.io in MT5’s WebRequest settings for the news feed, and verify the panel shows that protection is active. The EA can continue trading without that feed.

Does Yukon MT5 require grid trading?
No. Grid Classic, Pattern Long, Pattern Short and Breakout can be enabled independently. You can run the pattern and breakout engines without the grid. They enter with individual stop-losses; grid baskets manage several positions together.
Does the 10% basket setting guarantee a maximum account loss?
No. It is a grid-basket closure threshold described by the developer, not a guaranteed account drawdown limit. Execution conditions, gaps, slippage and other trades can produce larger losses. The pattern and breakout engines have their own trade-risk settings.
What account and news-feed setup does Yukon need?
Use MetaTrader 5 with a hedging account and your broker’s XAUUSD symbol. Allow https://revden.io in MT5’s WebRequest settings and verify the news protection status. Required capital depends on the enabled engines, gold leverage, contract size and minimum lot.
How do delivery and free lifetime updates work?
