Quantum Aurus EA MT5 executes momentum trades when price crosses dynamic high/low levels. Its multi-asset profiles change how stop distances and trailing are calculated, covering gold, currencies, indices and crypto without treating their price scales as interchangeable.

Setup and controls

The source lists XAUUSD, BTCUSD, NASDAQ and EURUSD, with M5, M15 and H1 chart choices. Trades use market execution. Session filtering can restrict operating hours, and Profile Selection must match the symbol before the stop-loss, take-profit and trailing settings are evaluated.

The description calls its level structure a virtual breakout grid. That is a set of entry triggers, not sufficient evidence either of an averaging basket or of a single-position-only rule. Check the configured position limits and simultaneous exposure in the tester. Percentage distances scale with asset price, but still need an account- and symbol-specific risk assessment.

The published gold profile uses a 0.50% stop distance, 1.50% target, 0.40% trailing start and 0.20% trail step. Those are distances relative to the instrument price, separate from RiskPercent, which governs account risk through position sizing. Forex uses point-based distances; the developer’s gold, index and crypto examples should not be copied interchangeably.

Quantum Aurus test: why the relative drawdown matters

The available original tester panel records 2,894 trades and 81.66% relative equity drawdown from 500 initial capital. Its 5.53% maximal-money-drawdown percentage is a different statistic and should not be used to describe the worst proportional equity decline. The sample also includes seven consecutive losing trades.

The complete symbol, timeframe, dates, asset profile and position-limit settings are absent. This result therefore cannot identify a suitable live configuration or establish equivalent behavior on gold, crypto, indices and currencies. The large historical profit shown in the same panel does not offset the importance of the drawdown.
