About Cortex Max AI MT5
Cortex Max AI MT5 is an XAUUSD trading system combining a local execution engine with optional MiniMax API analysis. It supports scalp, intraday and swing configurations, with separate controls for open positions, pending orders and the combined exposure of both engines.
Two engines with their own controls
The local Cortex Max engine offers selectable profiles, while the AI component analyzes market structure, volatility and existing exposure on a scheduled cycle. You can enable either engine or run both. Separate magic numbers distinguish their orders; a combined-position limit helps control their total activity.
- Timeframe-based modes: M1–M15 for scalping, M30–H1 for intraday trading and H4–W1 for swing analysis.
- Order-cycle limits: cap AI live positions and pending orders, set pending-order expiration and restrict entry distance from the current price.
- Position sizing: fixed lots, equity-based, risk-percentage and custom capital-base options.
- Trade management: AI-directed or manual break-even and trailing controls, with structural SL/TP constraints.
- Trading windows: economic-calendar protection, a Monday delay and Friday cutoff with pending-order cancellation.
Check the AI connection from the chart
The panel displays the selected model, mode, spread, news status and engine activity. TEST API checks connectivity; AI SCAN NOW requests fresh analysis, while EXIT AI targets positions belonging to the AI engine.
AI operation requires MiniMax connectivity and the domain https://api.minimax.io in MT5’s WebRequest allow-list. Use TEST API to verify the connection. The public listing does not confirm how API access or any usage charges are arranged; clarify these before enabling AI mode. The developer states that AI functions are not intended for the MT5 Strategy Tester; testing the local engine does not validate the combined system. Gold is the intended market, rather than an established multi-pair configuration.
