About Nasdaq M5 Scalper EA MT5
A compact directional score for Nasdaq
Nasdaq M5 Scalper EA MT5 is designed for short-term trend and momentum trading on Nasdaq-related index instruments. It uses three technical observations rather than requiring a long chain of simultaneous signals: the relationship between EMA 20 and EMA 50, price relative to EMA 20, and the direction of the M5 candle.
At least two of those three observations must agree. A buy can be considered when the buy score reaches that threshold and exceeds the sell score; a sell needs the corresponding advantage on the sell side. The source describes current M5 candle evaluation as the default, making this a more immediate entry process than a strategy that waits for every five-minute candle to close.
Understand what the score does and does not mean
EMA 20 above EMA 50, price above EMA 20 and a bullish candle each add to the buy case. The sell case uses EMA 20 below EMA 50, price below the fast average and a bearish candle. Because two conditions are enough, an entry need not have unanimous support from all three. That flexibility is part of the actual ruleset, not an omitted filter.
A developing candle can change direction before its close, so the default processing choice may produce a different trade sequence from a closed-candle test. A two-of-three score is also not a numerical probability of success. It is a rule for admitting trades. The right way to assess it is through the resulting entries, costs, losing sequences and drawdown on the intended Nasdaq contract.
ATR exits and symbol-aware sizing
The stated protective settings use ATR 14 and a 1.20 stop multiplier, with a target based on the effective stop distance at a 1:1 ratio. Broker stop distance, freeze level, spread and tick size are considered when valid order levels are calculated. Do not borrow the separate Reverse Scalper’s 80-point stop floor: that specific setting belongs to the reverse product, not this overview.
Automatic sizing starts at 0.50% risk with a 1.00-lot ceiling; fixed lots are optional. Contract size, tick value, minimum volume and lot steps can vary between Nasdaq symbols. One lot on one broker can carry different exposure from one lot elsewhere, so the symbol specification is part of the setup rather than an administrative detail.
Separate the EA’s trades and its loss sequence
The default permits one position belonging to this EA on the same symbol. A Magic Number distinguishes its position management from other EAs using other identifiers. After three consecutive losing trades, new entries pause for 60 minutes; a profitable closed trade resets that counter. The pause can end automatically, so monitor the strategy after a loss sequence instead of assuming it remains disabled.
The developer explicitly excludes martingale, grid trading, averaging down and recovery lot multiplication. The system also checks terminal, EA and account trading permissions, broker session availability, spread, margin and minimum stop/target requirements. These checks help determine whether an order may be attempted; they do not guarantee profitability or protect an account from all execution risks.
Choose the actual Nasdaq instrument
The EA trades the attached chart’s symbol. Common examples include NAS100, US100, USTEC, NASDAQ and NDX, with an optional symbol filter disabled by default. Do not take broad naming support as permission to attach it to an unrelated market. Select the broker’s intended Nasdaq-related instrument, verify its trading hours and costs, and compare backtest behavior with a demo run under the same specification.

Product FAQs
Nasdaq M5 Scalper EA MT5 FAQs
Real people on support, by Telegram or our contact form.
Is it the same as Nasdaq M5 Reverse Scalper?
No. This product follows the stronger directional score. The Reverse Scalper trades against its standard signal and documents a separate Nasdaq stop-distance floor.
Does it wait for the candle to close?
The overview describes current M5 candle evaluation as the default. Check the selected input configuration when comparing tests.
Can I use US100 or USTEC?
The EA uses the attached chart symbol and supports common Nasdaq naming variations. Verify that the broker’s instrument is the intended Nasdaq market and check its contract details.
Does the one-position default cover every EA on my account?
The source describes the limit for this EA on the same symbol, identified by its Magic Number. It should not be treated as a global limit on unrelated trading systems.
