About Nasdaq M5 Reverse Scalper EA MT5
An explicitly reversed Nasdaq entry model
Nasdaq M5 Reverse Scalper EA MT5 evaluates short-term direction, then trades the opposite way. It is intended for investigating counter-directional behavior on Nasdaq instruments. The word “reverse” describes the order direction, not a guarantee that it can identify the point at which a trend will turn.
The standard score considers EMA 20 versus EMA 50, price relative to EMA 20 and M5 candle direction. At least two conditions must agree, and one side’s score must be stronger. A standard sell signal can lead to a buy; a standard buy signal can lead to a sell. A fast directional move that persists is therefore a material risk for this strategy.
How the two signal sides are used
For the standard sell side, EMA 20 below EMA 50, price below EMA 20 and a bearish candle provide the observations. If at least two support that side and its score is stronger, the reverse engine can buy. The corresponding bullish observations can produce a reverse sell. The entry system does not require all three observations to agree.
Current M5 candle evaluation is the stated default. That can react while a candle is developing, but also means a temporary candle move can contribute to a signal. Evaluate that behavior using suitable data rather than assuming the same entries would appear in a closed-candle-only setup. This product’s trading direction should also remain distinct from the regular Nasdaq M5 Scalper when you compare results.
The Nasdaq stop floor is a price-distance setting
The protective configuration combines ATR 14 at a 1.20 multiplier with a default minimum stop distance of 80 Nasdaq index price points. When ATR calls for a wider stop, the wider distance is used. This is an index price-distance description, not 80 dollars of account loss or 80 broker ticks. The cash exposure depends on the contract and trade volume.
The source illustrates a buy at 25,000 with a stop around 24,920 and a target around 25,080. Actual levels can be wider because of ATR, spread and broker requirements. The default target follows the effective stop distance at 1:1. Use the resulting valid stop when checking position size; do not size a trade from the 80-point example if the actual protective level is farther away.
Lot controls and a temporary pause after losses
Automatic risk-based sizing starts at 0.50%, with a maximum 1.00 lot and optional fixed lots. The calculation uses the broker’s specifications, including tick value and volume rules. The default position limit is one trade belonging to this EA on the same symbol, and the Magic Number separates its own trades from other systems.
Three consecutive losses trigger a 60-minute pause in new entries, after which trading can resume. A profitable closed trade resets the counter. The developer states that the EA does not use martingale, grids, averaging down or recovery lot multiplication. Counter-directional entries still carry ordinary stop-loss and losing-streak risk, especially in a strong sustained Nasdaq move.
Broker compatibility and a useful comparison
The attached chart supplies the instrument, with common names such as NAS100, US100, USTEC and NASDAQ supported. The optional symbol filter is disabled by default. Check the actual index contract, spread, commission, session hours, minimum volume and stop restrictions. The EA also checks permissions, trading mode and available margin before attempting an order.
Compare the reverse and regular directional products using separate tests with consistent broker costs. An opposite entry direction does not make two EAs a guaranteed hedge: their positions, fill times and exits may differ, while both consume account margin. The useful decision is which behavior is supported by your testing, not whether the word “reverse” sounds more defensive.

Product FAQs
Nasdaq M5 Reverse Scalper EA MT5 FAQs
Real people on support, by Telegram or our contact form.
Does an 80-point stop mean an 80-dollar loss?
No. It describes the Nasdaq index price distance. Cash risk depends on trade volume, contract size, tick value and the actual effective stop.
When does it buy?
It can buy when at least two standard bearish conditions agree and the standard sell score is stronger. It reverses that standard signal.
Does the stop always stay exactly 80 points away?
No. A larger ATR distance, spread or broker requirements can produce a wider effective protective level.
Is this intended to recover another EA’s losses?
The overview describes a standalone reverse-entry system with its own Magic Number. It does not describe recovery lot multiplication or a guaranteed hedge for another EA.
