About Nvidia M30 Trend Momentum EA MT5

A stock-specific M30 momentum system

Nvidia M30 Trend Momentum EA MT5 analyzes NVIDIA-related stock instruments using trend, momentum and candle information. Four observations contribute to a directional score, with at least three required by default. The aim is to automate a repeatable entry process for an NVIDIA chart while allowing some flexibility when one indicator disagrees.

The system is described for the broker’s NVIDIA-related instrument, not for an arbitrary technology-stock portfolio. Whether that symbol is a share or a CFD, its trading availability, contract size, financing and execution rules depend on the broker. Confirm the actual instrument offered on the account before evaluating the strategy.

The four conditions and their stated defaults

The buy score gains support when EMA 20 is above EMA 50, RSI is at or above 52, MACD’s main line is above its signal line and the analyzed M30 candle is bullish. The sell side uses the opposite EMA and MACD relationships, RSI at or below 48, and a bearish candle. At least three conditions must favor one direction, and that score must exceed the opposite score.

The listed periods are RSI 14, MACD 12/26/9 and ATR 14. These are starting settings rather than an assertion that every future market regime suits the same inputs. In particular, a three-of-four rule is not an indicator of 75% accuracy. It counts conditions; it does not assign a verified probability to the next trade.

Optional volume confirmation

The optional volume filter compares current tick volume with the average of preceding M30 candles. It is disabled by default. Tick volume measures updates in the supplied price feed, so it should not be mistaken for a complete consolidated measure of all NVIDIA shares traded across exchanges. Its behavior needs to be assessed on the actual broker feed.

Enabling that filter adds another entry constraint. Compare the trades admitted and rejected by it, rather than assuming an extra condition automatically produces a better system. The public overview does not provide a validated superiority claim for the enabled or disabled configuration.

Stops, sizing and consecutive-loss control

The default stop uses ATR at a 1.50 multiplier. Spread, tick size, broker minimum stop distance and freeze level also contribute to valid protective levels. The1:1 target is calculated from the effective stop distance. Equal distances do not eliminate commissions, spread or slippage, and an overnight or session-opening gap can affect an exit.

Risk-based sizing starts at 0.50% and uses available free margin, entry price, stop distance and the broker’s contract/tick specifications. A1.00-lot maximum and optional fixed-lot mode are documented. Three consecutive losing trades trigger a 60-minute pause in new entries; a profitable closed trade resets the count. That limit belongs to the EA’s trade management, not an assurance of an account-wide maximum drawdown.

Session availability matters for stock instruments

The program checks that the broker session is open before attempting a trade. It also checks trading permissions, symbol mode, spread, margin and protective-order requirements. The default permits only one position belonging to this EA on the same symbol, identified by its Magic Number. The developer describes no martingale, grid, averaging down or recovery lot multiplication.

The chart can use labels such as NVDA, NVDA.US, NVDA# or NVIDIA. The optional NVIDIA symbol filter is disabled by default, so selecting the correct chart still matters. Test the strategy with the broker’s actual session gaps, transaction costs and contract specification. A short intraday sample cannot establish how it handles earnings-related gaps or a prolonged change in stock-market conditions.

Product FAQs

Nvidia M30 Trend Momentum EA MT5 FAQs

Still deciding?

Real people on support, by Telegram or our contact form.

Does it trade every stock in the Nasdaq index?

No. The public overview describes NVIDIA-related instruments. Use the correct broker symbol rather than an unrelated stock or index.

Is the volume filter enabled?

It is disabled in the stated defaults. When enabled it compares current tick volume with previous M30-candle average volume.

Are its settings identical to the Tesla edition?

No. The NVIDIA overview specifies RSI 52/48 and an ATR 1.50 stop multiplier; the Tesla overview documents different thresholds and a wider multiplier.

What prevents entries while the stock market is closed?

The EA checks the current broker trading session before an order. Broker trading hours and the actual stock instrument still need to be verified.
