About ORB Revolution EA MT5
Nasdaq opening-range trading with configurable entries
ORB Revolution EA MT5 trades an opening range: define the session’s start and end, then choose breakout, retest, failed-breakout reversal or Rebreak entries. Haidar Lionel Haj Ali’s system combines range and volatility filters with percentage, cash or fixed-lot sizing, daily loss/profit limits and staged exits. The default setup is NASDAQ (US100) on M5.
- Choose the entry: breakout, retest, failed-breakout countertrade or Rebreak after price returns and breaks the range again.
- Filter the opportunity: range limits, a breakout buffer, ATR, oscillator, optional VWAP/MA and opening-range context controls.
- Control the session: range times, allowed weekdays, touch/candle-close confirmation and news filtering using the internal MQL5 calendar.
- Manage the trade: stop loss, take profit, partial closes, breakeven and trailing management.
- Manage daily exposure: daily drawdown and profit thresholds alongside a choice of lot-sizing models.
Setup and account requirements
- Default market and chart
- NASDAQ (US100), M5. Broker names such as USTEC vary; confirm the correct contract and symbol.
- Platform and account
- MetaTrader 5; the developer supports both netting and hedging account modes.
- Opening range
- Start/end hour and minute, minimum and maximum range size, breakout buffer and confirmation mode.
- Position sizing
- Independent breakout/reversal sizing: fixed lots, percentage risk or fixed monetary risk. Optional loss-linked reversal multiplier needs a separate risk check.
- Range-scaled distances
- The linked guide defines RSM as Range Size Multiples; 0.5 RSM is half of the calculated opening range.
- Developer starting guidance
- Minimum account 200 USD and approximately 1% risk per trade; not guarantees of adequate margin or limited drawdown.
- Other instruments
- The developer offers alternative configurations; Gold presets are available privately on request. The Nasdaq defaults are not a ready-made setup for every market.
Check broker server time, contract size, point value, minimum lot and cash risk at the selected stop. On a small balance, minimum volume can exceed the desired percentage risk.

The overview says no grid, martingale or averaging, but the July release notes add an optional lot multiplier for a reversal following a losing breakout. If enabled above one, that loss-linked setting increases volume; assess the resulting exposure rather than assuming every configuration keeps risk fixed. Optional hidden stops require the EA to remain running, as the guide explicitly warns.
Current public signal and customer evidence

The linked MQL5 account showed 3.33% growth and 22 trades on October 2, 2026. Monitoring began September 20; MQL5 flags the newly opened account and small sample. It trades several instruments, so it is not an isolated test of the Nasdaq defaults.

Product FAQs
ORB Revolution EA MT5 FAQs
Real people on support, by Telegram or our contact form.
Which market and chart should I use?
The developer’s default setup is NASDAQ (US100) on M5. Your broker may name the instrument differently, such as USTEC; check its contract specifications rather than choosing a symbol by name alone. Gold presets are offered privately by the developer on request, so do not assume they are bundled or use the Nasdaq defaults unchanged on gold.
Does ORB Revolution work on netting and hedging accounts?
The developer explicitly supports both MetaTrader 5 account modes. Confirm your broker’s mode and test position management, especially if another strategy or a manual trade uses the same symbol.
Can I choose between a breakout and a retest?
Yes. The listed controls include immediate breakout or retest entry and touch/candle-close confirmation. Later releases add failed-breakout countertrades and Rebreak, which seeks another entry after price returns, restructures around the range boundary and breaks again. Range, volatility and context filters can further restrict entries.
Does it use grid or martingale?
The overview says no grid, martingale or averaging, but the July 21 release notes add an optional reversal lot multiplier when a breakout loses. A multiplier above one increases volume after that loss, so the selected settings matter more than a blanket label. Test breakout and reversal cash risk together before enabling it.
Does the news filter still need Investing.com WebRequest access?
The public February input guide describes an external Investing.com feed, but the July 21 release notes switch news to the internal MQL5 calendar. Use the current build’s controls rather than treating the older WebRequest instruction as a current prerequisite. Test the chosen news window and open-trade actions separately.
What happens if I enable hidden stops and the terminal goes offline?
The linked guide explicitly warns that virtual stop-loss/take-profit levels cannot be enforced when the terminal is offline. Keep the EA running continuously if using them, and verify whether a physical backup stop is configured. A hidden stop is not interchangeable with a broker-visible stop.
Do the daily loss controls guarantee prop-firm compliance?
No. The EA includes daily drawdown and profit thresholds, but a firm’s rules can define equity, reset time, trailing limits and open-position exposure differently. Match the actual settings to the specific account rules and verify their behavior before relying on them.
Is the linked live signal a long performance record?
No. At our October 2, 2026 check, MQL5 showed two weeks and 22 trades, with warnings about a newly opened account and too few deals to evaluate trading quality. Its mixed-symbol history also differs from a pure US100 default-settings test. The dated review preserves those limitations alongside the account statistics.
What is included after purchase?
This is a standalone delivery offer. Your order gives instant access to the delivery-instructions document, which explains the EA delivery and setup steps; the document is not the EA executable. Free lifetime updates, email support and optional free AnyDesk installation assistance are included.
