Adaptive gold trading with visible decision controls

King of Gold UCB Agent EA MT5 combines adaptive entry selection, market or limit-order execution and configurable trade management. Built primarily for XAUUSD, it uses contextual bandit models that the developer says learn from closed trades and adjust their choices as market conditions change.

The on-chart panel explains current activity, entry reasoning, trade profile and sizing, helping you inspect skipped setups and active risk controls.

Product specifications

Platform and market: MetaTrader 5, developed primarily for XAUUSD. It trades the symbol and timeframe of the chart to which it is attached.
Adaptive decisions: Contextual bandit models adjust entry choices, execution and trade profiles using closed-trade outcomes.
Order placement: Market entries or limit orders at volume-profile zones, with multi-timeframe and candle-pattern analysis.
Exits: Stop loss and take profit on each trade, optional trailing stop, breakeven, adaptive stops and basket-profit management.
Position sizing: Fixed lots or risk-percentage sizing, with daily loss/profit controls and optional recovery and small-balance modes.
Data and memory: Broker market depth when available, volume-profile fallback and learning memory saved to a file between restarts.

Manage individual trades and the basket

Alongside individual stops and targets, the EA offers a basket-profit target, optional trailing basket closure and protection when incoming volume turns strongly against a profitable basket. Daily profit and loss settings, a loss cooldown, spread filters and configurable trading hours provide further controls.

Assess basket and recovery options alongside position size and concurrent exposure. Recovery does not guarantee that losses will be recovered; stops can fill beyond their intended levels during gaps or slippage.

Available controls are not necessarily enabled in a preset: the latest public example leaves its daily-loss limit and several individual trailing protections off. The review explains those switches before you choose a configuration.

Choose the chart and test the learning process

The EA trades its attached chart’s symbol and timeframe. It can analyze other Market Watch symbols without opening trades on all of them. The developer also lists other asset classes as compatible, but gold is the primary design focus.

The latest public XAUUSD example uses M1 and version 1.23, posted 16 October 2026. Check it against the current build. Start on demo, allow learning to develop and verify contract size, minimum lot, margin and costs. No universal minimum balance is specified.

Which market and timeframe does it trade?

King of Gold is developed primarily for XAUUSD and trades the symbol and timeframe of its attached chart. The developer’s 16 October 2026 public settings example uses XAUUSD M1 with version 1.23. The listing also allows other asset classes; test each configuration separately. Its internal M1–H4 analysis does not prescribe one mandatory chart timeframe.

Does it trade every symbol in Market Watch?

No. The developer says it analyzes visible Market Watch symbols but trades only the symbol of the chart to which it is attached.

Does learning survive a restart?

The developer states that learning is saved to a file and restored after a restart. Version 1.3 release notes also describe tester training and loading saved knowledge. Record the memory state and configuration when comparing tests, because a trained instance and a fresh instance may start differently.

Does my broker need depth-of-market data?

The EA uses market-depth information when available and falls back to volume-profile analysis otherwise. Test the actual data and execution conditions offered by your broker.

Does recovery mode remove the risk of loss?

No. Recovery, small-balance and daily-limit settings are controls, not guarantees. Inspect their effect on sizing and combined exposure. Slippage, gaps and correlated positions can still produce losses.

Are all protections enabled in the public preset?

No. The 16 October version 1.23 example leaves the daily-loss limit, cooldown, individual trailing stop, breakeven and safe-balance mode off. Recovery auto-close and assist entries are off too. Inspect the actual switches in the current build rather than assuming every advertised feature is enabled.

What is the recommended minimum balance?

The current listing does not specify a universal minimum. The appropriate balance depends on contract size, minimum volume, leverage, the selected risk setting and concurrent exposure. Establish a suitable demo configuration before using real funds.

Are Telegram alerts required?

No. They are optional. Using them requires your own bot token and chat ID and WebRequest access to https://api.telegram.org in MetaTrader’s Expert Advisors settings.

What do I download after purchase?

The order provides DeliveryInformation.txt with delivery instructions. This document is not the trading executable.
