Setup and controls
H1 is the published timeframe for XAUUSD. The developer describes no grid or martingale and recommends low-spread ECN/Raw execution. Its adaptive-learning explanation is not independently verified here.
A directional-efficiency filter may reject noisy price action yet still admit a failed breakout. Evaluate the entry and exit settings together: a wide trailing distance changes how much an open gain can retrace, while position sizing determines the monetary effect of a stop.
The input list makes the exit controls more specific: Volatility_Mult scales the initial stop against ATR, BE_Trigger_ATR sets the breakeven activation distance, and Trail_ATR_Mult governs trailing distance. The developer’s minimum-deposit example is 300; the risk percentage and broker’s tick value still determine the monetary exposure.
AI Gold Aurus: the source report’s equity decline
The original tester panel shows 269 trades, a profit factor of 1.60 and 63.63% relative equity drawdown. Its 31.72% maximal-money-drawdown percentage describes a different event. Even with the source’s no-grid/no-martingale design, the illustrated equity decline is substantial.
The sample starts with 500, includes both long and short trades, and has 89 losing trades. No full dates or risk settings are visible. The report cannot establish that the H1 setup, Bayesian threshold or ATR multipliers will produce similar results at a particular live broker.
