Impulse entries, scaling positions and virtual stops

The source describes an entry engine based on price velocity and liquidity patterns, paired with a filter intended to avoid directionless activity. Crucially, the FAQ states that a scaling grid can operate when an ADX cluster confirms trend strength. This is a material part of the strategy, even though the main marketing emphasizes selective initial entries.

Setup and operating considerations

M5 is the preferred chart, with M15 and H1 also listed. Low-spread ECN or Raw execution and a stable VPS are recommended. Inspect the number, size and spacing of added positions in a test; the total basket exposure matters more than the size of the first trade alone.

Virtual exits are processed by the EA rather than submitted as ordinary stop orders at the broker. A terminal outage can therefore affect their operation. They do not prevent adverse price movement or prove protection from stop hunting. Both the grid and the dependence on active terminal execution deserve attention before live use.

The developer’s embedded report contains 5,626 trades, with 42.71% closing at a loss. It shows both long and short activity, a profit factor of 1.35 and a maximum sequence of ten losing trades. Those details are more informative about the sample than the rising balance curve on its own.

The image omits the full test header and drawdown rows, as well as the scaling-grid and virtual-exit inputs. It cannot establish maximum basket exposure or how those controls would behave during a terminal interruption. This is selected historical test material, not verified live performance.
