Setup and controls
The developer lists forex, gold and indices, with H1 recommended while allowing other periods. Default single-trade behavior should not be confused with the separately selectable grid mode.
Turning on a grid or lot multiplier materially changes exposure. Compare the maximum concurrent position size under each mode instead of treating default tests as evidence for every configuration. A news pause also cannot prevent every unexpected market event.
In its stated default configuration, Aurus Apex uses one active trade, a small initial lot and explicit stop-loss/take-profit levels. Classic mode offers a fixed lot or percentage of deposit, whereas Pro Grid adds spacing and multiplier decisions. Keep those mode settings with every saved test result so that a single-order test is not used to justify grid exposure.
Aurus Apex’s minimum-lot test illustration
The later gallery image contains a readable developer report inside the artwork. It shows a 500 starting deposit, 1:500 leverage and 1,729 trades, including four losses, with 0.24% relative equity drawdown. Average loss is larger than average win despite the high proportion of winning closes.
The overlay calls this a default minimum-lot example for 2025–2026, but the complete dates, symbol and Classic/Pro Grid inputs are absent. Its profit factor is 269.78, a ratio rather than the percentage used in the annotation. The report illustrates one selected historical setup; it does not establish that optional grid operation shares its drawdown or that another broker would reproduce it.
