Golden Liquid EA MT4 combines short-term gold entries with DCA position management. Built specifically for XAUUSD, it offers fixed or automatic lots, trailing exits, spread filtering and a configurable trading window.

Choosing fixed or automatic lots

A positive Fixed Lot selects manual sizing. Set it to zero to use a positive Auto Lot value. The developer’s Auto Lot = 1 example allocates 0.01 lots per $1,000 balance: proportionally, $2,000 corresponds to 0.02 lots, subject to the broker’s permitted volumes. This scales the position with balance; it does not mean a 1% loss limit. Money at risk also depends on the stop distance, contract value and any additional DCA positions.

Understanding gold points

The developer instructs users with three-decimal XAUUSD quotes to multiply point-based exit distances by ten. For illustration, 100 points at a point size of 0.01 and 1,000 points at 0.001 both represent a $1 movement in the gold quote. This is a unit-conversion example, not a recommended stop. Confirm your symbol’s point size, permitted stop distance and resulting price level in MT4 before using a preset.

A settings example from the developer

The parameter line shows FixedLot = 0.01 alongside AutoLot = 1: the positive fixed-lot setting takes precedence. It also shows MaxDrawdownPercent = 0, so that protection was disabled in this test. The report uses 90% modelling quality and a fixed spread; it illustrates one configuration, not a live return or a recommended preset.

DCA can add exposure while positions are floating at a loss. Evaluate combined position size and your chosen protection settings, rather than relying on the win rate alone. The public settings show the drawdown limit disabled at zero.
