Harmonizer EA for an MT4 trading setup
Harmonizer EA MT4 by Amir Hossein Moharreri is the MetaTrader 4 edition of his volatility-adaptive grid system. It combines configurable lot sizing, basket exits and portfolio controls so several Forex symbols can be managed from one chart. The practical reason to choose this edition is compatibility with an existing MT4 broker account and workflow, at a lower purchase price than the MT5 offer.
What version 2.24 provides
The MT4 listing’s latest release is 2.24, dated 10 August 2024. Its published update history documents daily drawdown controls, four risk modes, a randomized entry delay and a Sleep button. Sleep pauses the start of new cycles while allowing the EA to continue handling positions already open.
- Choose your sizing: fixed lots or the available risk/deposit-load settings, with separate multipliers for later grid orders.
- Control the basket: configurable profit targets, trailing behaviour, grid spacing and maximum trade counts.
- Limit portfolio activity: specify trading symbols and the maximum number active at once.
- Monitor account loss: global and daily drawdown settings can close positions when their configured limits are reached; verify that the relevant protection is enabled.
Start with the MT4 requirements
- Terminal
- MetaTrader 4. An MT5 executable will not run in this platform.
- Chart
- AUDCAD M15 is the documented starting chart. Confirm the TradeSymbols list before enabling trading.
- Pairs
- The MT4 overview repeats AUDNZD inconsistently. Check the supplied configuration rather than treating the MT5 pair list as confirmed MT4 defaults.
- Account conditions
- Developer suggests ECN conditions, an account supporting hedging positions, leverage of 1:200 or higher, and reliable connectivity.
- Starting balance
- The listing gives $500 as a minimum and suggests $1,500 for a larger buffer. Grid exposure can still produce substantial losses at either balance.
MT4 or the newer MT5 branch?
Choose MT4 when platform compatibility is the deciding factor. Choose Harmonizer EA MT5 when you want the more recently updated branch: its version 3 series documents directional trading controls and a redesigned panel, and its public documentation includes a news filter. Those MT5-specific changes are not documented for MT4 version 2.24, so we do not present the editions as feature-identical.
All three developer-linked signals assessed in our review run on MT5. They help explain how the strategy has behaved, but they do not establish matching performance for an MT4 installation. The two MT4 customer reviews are also older and limited, making demo validation on your own broker especially useful.
Understand the recovery exposure
Harmonizer adds grid positions and can increase their size through lot multipliers. That can produce smooth closed-trade results while leaving meaningful floating drawdown between exits. It is not a fixed-risk, single-entry strategy. Allow for spread, swaps and execution differences, and do not assume an account setting labelled low risk guarantees a small maximum loss.

Delivery: standalone MT4 file offer, version 2.24, priced at $349.95. Your order supplies the delivery-instructions document, not an EA executable inside that document. This edition requires MetaTrader 4.
