Pulsar X EA MT5 looks for exhausted gold impulses after price breaks beyond a volatility channel and then closes back inside. Its entry sequence combines a Bollinger Band return with activity and trend checks, rather than entering simply because price touches the band.

Setup and controls
The developer specifies XAUUSD on M5 or M15 and recommends continuous VPS operation. The source describes a system without grids, martingale or averaging. Its percentage risk setting should be selected for the account’s tolerance for several losing trades, rather than copied solely from a promotional test.
Waiting for a return inside the band distinguishes this from a basic band-touch strategy, but a return can still be followed by another breakout. Assess behavior during persistent trends and news-driven moves. The trend and volatility filters narrow the eligible entries; they do not prove that a reversal has become inevitable.
Pulsar X: closed-trade accuracy versus equity losses
The published tester panel records 269 trades and a 95.91% profitable-trade rate, alongside 37.59% relative equity drawdown. A high proportion of winning exits therefore did not prevent a substantial decline in account equity. The average losing trade is also larger than the average winning trade in this sample.
The image shows 500 initial capital and separate entry distributions by hour, weekday and month. Its full dates, chart timeframe and risk percentage are absent. The overview’s 1.5–2% setting recommendation cannot be assumed to be the setup behind this image, and the 17.31% printed beside maximal money drawdown is a different measure from relative drawdown.
