Quant Lattice EA MT5 trades AUDCAD mean reversion through position layers and basket-level exits. Choose Steady for more selective entries, Drive for more frequent opportunities, or Cruise for confluence-filtered entries and adaptive basket trailing.

Dilwyn Tng’s system adapts entry conditions to market context and manages the combined basket rather than treating each layer’s result in isolation. This is a grid/layering approach: additional positions can increase exposure while the basket waits for a favorable move.

These are developer sizing guidelines, not safe-balance guarantees. Match the chosen mode and lot settings to margin, minimum order size and possible basket drawdown.
Wider grid spacing, filters or a basket stop cannot guarantee recovery or an exact loss ceiling. A sustained move away from the basket can create significant floating losses and margin pressure. Treat historical crisis-survival claims as backtest descriptions, not future protection.

Which pair, chart and account type does it require?
The developer specifies AUDCAD on M30 and a hedging ECN/RAW account with low spread and slippage. Use the broker’s correct symbol suffix. Minimum stated leverage is 1:30, with 1:100 or more preferred.
How do Steady, Drive and Cruise differ?
Steady is described as more selective. Drive trades more frequently and can widen grid spacing during high-volatility conditions. Cruise uses indicator confluence and adaptive basket trailing. The names describe different approaches, not guaranteed performance rankings.
Is this a grid or layering strategy?
Yes. The developer describes adaptive grid spacing, follow-up position layers and basket exits. Multiple positions may accumulate exposure while awaiting mean reversion; this should not be treated as a single-position or no-grid EA.
Do the protection controls guarantee a drawdown limit?
No. The public June presets explicitly have the news filter off and zero daily/max-DD percentage values; they do not prove current protection defaults. Configuration and execution matter, and gaps, sustained trends or insufficient margin can affect losses. Historical recovery does not guarantee future recovery.
What starting balance is recommended?
The source is inconsistent: mode summaries list $300/$500/$300 minima for Steady/Drive/Cruise, while the later recommendations table lists $500/$1,000/$500. Other recommended amounts also differ. None is a universal safe balance; sizing, minimum volume, leverage and the number of open layers determine exposure.
Can one mode’s results be treated as proof for another?
No. Entry frequency, basket management, settings and observation periods can differ. Compare each mode’s own dated signals and tests, and assess combined exposure if using more than one configuration.
