About ScalpelBarUVL EA MT5

ScalpelBarUVL trades tick-speed and acceleration signals with volatility-adjusted stops and position sizing. Its published design uses one position at a time, with no grid or martingale.

Tick-driven entries with adjustable volatility

ScalpelBarUVL looks at the speed and acceleration of incoming ticks. Separate Buy AVG, Buy Speed and Buy Acceleration inputs configure long entries, with equivalent controls for short entries. These settings make execution conditions and the quality of tick data relevant to both testing and live operation.

The EA scales distance-based parameters for the instrument and can also adjust them against a reference volatility level. Normal Volatility establishes the reference, Bars Volatility defines the measurement period, and minimum/maximum volatility filters restrict when the system trades.

Position and account controls

The developer describes one position at a time, mandatory stops, and compatibility with both netting and hedging MT5 accounts. The published approach excludes grids and martingale. That simplifies the position structure, but does not remove the possibility of repeated losses or slippage through a stop.

  • TP and SL: profit and loss exit distances, interpreted with the EA’s scaling rules.
  • Total Equity Risk and Total Equity Profit: account-level percentage controls, with zero disabling them.
  • OnRisk, Lot and PercentRisk: a choice between risk-based sizing and fixed volume.
  • Volume Max and Min Deposit: limits for position volume and the account threshold for operation.
  • Type Filling: the order-filling policy must suit the broker.

Why the spread settings matter

Spread Min and Spread Max deserve particular attention. The developer explicitly warns that omitting a realistic minimum spread can produce unrealistic-looking test profits. Test with real ticks, broker-appropriate costs and a filling policy that matches the intended account.

The source recommends optimizing each instrument before use and uses $1,000 as a reference test balance. Its broad instrument-compatibility claim does not establish that one preset works on every market. The original report below shows 99.49% profitable trades, but an average profit of 0.12 versus an average loss of 8.49. That imbalance helps explain why a high win rate alone is insufficient. The accompanying tester setup shows EURUSD M1, June 22, 2021 to June 22, 2022, with real ticks and a 50 ms delay.

Product FAQs

ScalpelBarUVL EA MT5 FAQs

Still deciding?

Real people on support, by Telegram or our contact form.

Does ScalpelBarUVL use grid or martingale?

The developer describes one-position trading with mandatory stops and explicitly states that the system uses neither grid nor martingale.

Does it support netting and hedging accounts?

Both account types are listed as supported. The selected order-filling policy still needs to match the broker.

Why does Spread Min matter in testing?

The developer warns that failing to model a realistic minimum spread can create misleading test results. Use realistic costs and real-tick data.

Do the default settings suit every instrument?

No universal preset is established. The source calls for optimization for each instrument and describes automatic distance and volatility scaling.
