Gold impulse entries with tick and directional confirmation

Scalping XAUUSD M1 EA MT5 analyzes tick activity, movement speed and volatility on gold’s one-minute chart. Pablo Redondo Perez’s system, called XAU Scalper V4 in the overview, places Buy Stop or Sell Stop orders when a short-term impulse and its continuation are confirmed. EMA 9/21, moving-average slope, Parabolic SAR, ATR/recent-range conditions and spread checks contribute to its trading filters.

Pending entries and configurable trade management

Impulse-based entries: tick and movement-confirmation windows guide pending stop orders, with current-candle and distance-from-extreme checks.
Buy and Sell capability: the published setup permits both directions and up to five simultaneous positions.
Optional adverse re-entry: a further same-direction position may be added after price moves against the basket. Additions use the same configured volume, without progressive lot increases.
Cash-based exits: monetary targets and loss controls, opposite-signal exits and basket holding-time settings manage the trades.

Same-volume additions still increase combined exposure. The published test enables adverse re-entry and uses 0.5 volume with a five-position limit. These are disclosed test inputs, not a suitable configuration for every balance or broker.

Read the test configuration before choosing risk

The displayed test uses a target of 20.5 and a loss parameter of 25 per position, in account-currency units. It enables adaptive loss cutting and opposite-signal exits, with a 180-minute basket holding input. Those monetary and timing parameters do not guarantee an exact exit price, loss or holding duration.

Optional controls should be distinguished from active test settings: hidden basket trailing and news protection are off; equity protection and daily entry/loss limits are set to zero. Do not assume the published configuration has an active percentage-equity cap or news shield.
