Sentinel X Gold EA MT5

Sentinel X Gold EA MT5 combines a configurable H1 range-breakout strategy with an optional AI engine for XAUUSD. The breakout side uses closed-candle confirmation and ATR-based exits; the AI side can create, modify or cancel orders as market conditions change.

Breakout execution with a separate AI engine

The local strategy identifies a high/low consolidation range using a configurable lookback, described as 40 H1 bars in the source setup. Pivot length, minimum ATR, stop distance, target ratio, trading session and spread filters are adjustable. A per-candle guard limits repeat entries.

The AI engine reads structured market context and returns a confidence-weighted decision. It can manage pending and live orders or choose to wait. EA-only, AI-only and combined operation are available; separate magic numbers and comments keep the engines identifiable in account history.

• A dashboard for confidence, regime, spread, session and engine statistics.

Current release notes add progressive trailing, a range-regime block and a revenge-trade guard. These are execution controls, not guarantees that orders fill at the intended level or that losses stay within a fixed amount.

Operating requirements

The breakout engine runs locally without an external AI request, but trading still requires a working MT5 broker connection. AI operation additionally requires the OpenAI service and WebRequest permission for https://api.openai.com. The public material does not establish included API credits or a billing allowance.

The developer recommends low-spread execution and a VPS for continuous operation. Check the chosen gold symbol, lot increments, stop-distance rules and news settings on demo first. The AI-in-backtest input is off by default, so a normal strategy test should not be treated as evidence for both engines together.
