Three gold strategies in one MT5 portfolio
Kingdom Knight Gold by Lewis Kosasih is an XAUUSD H1 Expert Advisor that combines three strategies using H4, H12 and weekly directional context. It looks for liquidity sweeps on gold: moves through relevant price levels that can create an entry opportunity when the wider strategy conditions agree.
The developer describes a system with a broker-side stop loss on every order, without grid, martingale or averaging. Its approach accepts frequent small losses in pursuit of less frequent, larger winners. This is a selective portfolio for traders who can tolerate quiet periods and losing sequences, rather than expecting daily profits.
Choose a built-in risk rank
- Squire: the lowest-risk preset, described as 0.7% risk per strategy.
- Knight: the intermediate preset, described as 1.0% risk per strategy.
- Knight Commander: the default profile used for the developer’s headline tests.
The ranks use the same strategy logic with different sizing. A single selection controls the profile; the developer says separate preset files are not required. Lower sizing can reduce exposure, but it does not remove the possibility of substantial drawdown.

Check these requirements before choosing it
- Platform / version
- MetaTrader 5; latest version supplied.
- Symbol / chart
- XAUUSD, H1. Two-decimal gold quotes are required; three-decimal gold quotes are not supported by the stated specification.
- Account type
- An MT5 hedging account is mandatory.
- Broker / testing
- Developed and tested on IC Markets RAW. Confirm symbol precision, execution costs and margin requirements with your broker.
- Capital reference
- The developer recommends at least $1,000, with $5,000+ for fuller trade-size fidelity. Small accounts can skip trades because minimum lot sizes do not fit the intended risk.
- Terminal
- A stable terminal or VPS is recommended. Broker-side stops remain submitted during a disconnection, but execution prices are not guaranteed.
Understand the trading rhythm
The developer’s historical test averaged roughly two trades per week, with some much longer gaps. Its reported win rate was only 26.8%, offset by larger average winners. Sixteen-loss sequences and losing months appear in the disclosed test history. Those are material characteristics of the approach, not just footnotes to the growth chart.
Backtests and live evidence are different
The listing presents an 8.6-year simulation with 897 trades and a 29.2% historical equity drawdown. It also discusses simulated drawdowns around 33% and adverse regimes beyond 40%. These are developer tests, not promised returns or guaranteed risk limits.
A public IC Markets MT5 signal now exists through the developer’s profile. At our check it had only two trades and -2.60% growth, which is too small a sample to confirm or reject the strategy. Our review examines that record, the original test charts and the current customer feedback.
