Xauron EA MT5 trades gold breakouts using market-confirmation filters, pending-order controls and configurable exits. Built for XAUUSD, it combines session and news filters with fixed or percentage-based position sizing.
Gold breakout entries with configurable timing
Roberto Liguoro’s Xauron waits for qualifying market conditions rather than opening trades continuously. The published design uses high/low breakout levels and volatility checks. Pending-order expiry and removal when a high or low changes can prevent an old setup from remaining active after its original context has changed. Check these optional settings explicitly: their introduction did not make them enabled by default.
Separate control over exposure and exits
Choose a static lot size, sizing linked to stop-loss risk, or balance-based sizing. Fixed stop loss and take profit define the initial trade plan, while trailing controls manage a position after it moves favourably. The release history distinguishes the trigger, distance from market and trailing step. These choices affect how quickly a trade is protected and how much room it has to fluctuate.
- Time controls: up to three daily trading sessions and selected weekdays.
- News filter: restrict activity around relevant economic announcements.
- Strategy style: the developer describes no grid, martingale or loss-recovery lot multipliers.
- Dashboard: view operating information while the EA manages entries and exits.

MT5 setup and broker execution
The current listing says any chart timeframe can host the EA because its analysis is handled internally. The analysis timeframe inside a preset still matters; an older M15 test label is not a universal instruction. The developer lists a $300 minimum deposit and standard or ECN/RAW accounts, with leverage of 1:100 or higher recommended. These are source specifications, not a guarantee that the minimum balance suits every lot size. Check your broker’s gold symbol, contract specification, spread and stop distance before running it.
Read the live history as well as the backtest
Two public Xauron accounts allow closer inspection of the trading history. Both show profitable lifetime growth, but also substantial balance drawdowns and losing months. The review compares their monitoring dates, trade distribution and reported equity figures with the original tester images. Short holding times make execution differences particularly relevant.
