GBPUSD Robot Pro EA MT5 is a GBPUSD specialist for MetaTrader 5, combining M5 market analysis with news and volatility filters. It manages entries and exits automatically while letting you set trade direction, position limits and daily trading protections.
GBPUSD analysis and trade management in MT5
The MT5 edition checks trend, support/resistance, price momentum and volatility instead of trading a basket of unrelated markets. It includes take profit, stop loss, trailing and break-even functions. Buy-only, sell-only or both directions can be selected to suit the setup being tested.
- GBPUSD five-minute strategy built for MetaTrader 5.
- Adjustable position cap and daily profit/drawdown limits.
- No grid or martingale, according to the developer’s strategy description.
Entry filters and daily trading limits
Spread protection, abnormal-candle checks, market-activity filters and economic-news protection can restrict new entries. Optional daily profit and maximum-drawdown limits also restrict further trading when their thresholds are reached. These controls should not be read as a promise that all existing positions will close at a guaranteed account-loss amount.

Configure and test the MT5 edition
The source specifies GBPUSD M5 and a 1,000 starting deposit for testing. Use the MT5 file in the MT5 Strategy Tester and check your broker’s symbol, lot sizes and execution costs. MaxOrders is five by default, so reduce it to one if a single-position setup is intended. The platform choice alone does not establish a different or better trading edge.
Compare the matching MT4 edition
If your broker account runs on MetaTrader 4, use GBPUSD Robot Pro MT4. Both listings describe the same core GBPUSD approach. Their files are platform-specific; a test of one terminal’s execution should not be treated as proof of the other.
Read the original test report carefully
The developer’s shared gallery contains a Strategy Tester report with 72.10% relative equity drawdown. It also shows smaller drawdown percentages measured differently. The report is a simulation, not a verified live account; the full review explains the figures and evidence limits.
