Ghost XAU EA MT5 combines gold trading logic with tools for understanding its decisions. Leonid Arkhipov’s system assesses the market, scores buy and sell opportunities, checks its Guardian model and applies entry filters before it sends an order. Observe, inspect and replay

Ghost mode runs the decision logic on your broker’s feed using virtual positions and a separate virtual balance. It gives you a way to learn the interface before enabling LIVE orders. It does not reproduce real fills or slippage.

X-Ray exposes scores, market conditions and the gates that rejected an opportunity. Decision Replay then follows a completed trade through its analysis, entry and exit. The developer describes three models containing 620 decision trees and more than 120 market features; those specifications describe the design, not a promised success rate.

Build the execution environment first

• Market and timeframe: attach the EA to your broker’s XAUUSD/GOLD M15 chart. Symbol suffixes and different gold decimal formats are supported.
• Preflight: wait for chart history and model warmup, then check trading permissions, symbol specifications and the readiness panel.
• News Engine: authorize https://nfs.faireconomy.media in WebRequest when using news protection. Match GMT and daylight-saving settings to the broker’s server.
• Execution filters: configure maximum gold-price spread and the before/after news window. The Friday option blocks new entries while existing positions continue under their exit logic.
• Availability: keep MT5, internet and the host computer running; a VPS is recommended for uninterrupted operation. The guide says DLL imports are not required.

Size positions deliberately

Choose percentage-of-equity risk or fixed lots. The guide describes risk sizing from the actual entry-to-stop distance, respecting broker volume steps and margin limits. Fixed lots do not keep percentage risk constant when stop distance changes.

The strategy is described as having no grid or averaging and equal initial target and stop distances. Optional Recovery increases the base lot or risk to twice its usual level after a loss and keeps that level until the deficit is recovered. Further losses do not increase the multiplier again, but can add to the deficit. Stop orders and risk settings cannot eliminate slippage, gaps or losses.
