Night Walker EA MT5 review. Night Walker EA MT5 trades short-term Forex ranges around the transition from the US session to Asia. Bollinger Bands, CCI and RSI guide entries, while an ADX filter and news controls restrict unsuitable conditions.
Our assessment: A specific overnight-range tool rather than a general gold robot. Its important trade-off is visible in the public account: frequent small wins have not prevented an overall loss at the inspection date.

Why the session matters
The strategy depends on price reverting within a channel near the US-to-Asia transition. That premise can fail when a quiet range becomes a directional move. Spread expansion, rollover charges and limited liquidity can consume a small target even when the chart entry looks reasonable. Dynamic stops based on channel width adapt to market conditions, but they can also be much larger than the intended profit.
The current account contradicts a simple high-win-rate pitch
On 16 September 2026, signal 2356584 on ICMarketsSC-MT5-2 showed −3.17% growth over 33 weeks and 276 trades. Its win rate was 86.59%, yet profit factor was 0.97. Average profit was $0.40 and average loss $2.70, approximately 6.75 times larger. The worst trade was −$12.46 compared with a best trade of $1.37. These figures explain how an apparently impressive success rate can coexist with a negative net result.
Read the drawdown and monthly history as well
Relative balance drawdown was 19.15%, with maximal balance drawdown 19.19%; relative equity drawdown was separately 10.43%. April lost 12.34%, August lost 7.16% and September-to-date lost 8.25%. The signal start was 30 January 2026. Its 11-hour average holding time also shows that a night entry does not necessarily produce an immediate exit. The original capture and source link allow the reader to check subsequent changes rather than treating this snapshot as permanent.
What the public presets establish
The archive contains one set file for each of the seven listed pairs. The inspected AUDCAD preset includes M5 entry-indicator settings, an H1 ADX input, session-hour fields, a magic number and news settings. It is dated January 2026, before later news-filter changes. That supports a pair-specific setup workflow, not a universal instruction to attach every pair with identical defaults. Check server time, symbol contract data and the loaded parameters.
Backtests and feedback answer different questions
The seven original gallery reports cover 2023–2025 and show each pair separately. They are useful historical simulations, but should not overrule the current monitored result. Costs, feed and execution differences matter especially for short targets. A favourable simulated equity curve does not establish that the current account has recovered its losses. January release notes also added protection against invalid broker contract data, illustrating why current operating behaviour can differ from an older test.

Customer feedback and its limits
Four ratings were listed. Visible written reviews praised the strategy and developer support; one February reviewer described roughly one week of use. That early enthusiasm is not evidence of the later 33-week result. The review therefore presents the positive setup feedback alongside the current negative signal rather than selecting only the praise.

Choosing this system
The public account was negative at the dated check despite an 86.59% win rate. Review the average-win/loss relationship and execution requirements. A specific overnight-range tool rather than a general gold robot. Its important trade-off is visible in the public account: frequent small wins have not prevented an overall loss at the inspection date.
