Product description

About Boring Pips EA MT5

Boring Pips EA MT5 trades AUDNZD, NZDCAD and AUDCAD using momentum analysis, supply-and-demand zones and Fibonacci-based exits. It monitors the three currency pairs from one M5 chart, with selectable risk modes and controls over position size, trade groups and drawdown.

A currency EA with a substantial public track record

Boring Pips stands out for the length of the developer’s public trading record. The main IC Markets signal displays account history stretching back to 2022, giving buyers far more to examine than a brief launch-period profit curve. The linked signals run the MT4 edition; our Boring Pips MT5 review explains the evidence, settings changes and drawdowns before comparing the editions.

What Boring Pips does

  • Looks for slowing momentum: the developer describes analysis across four timeframes to identify potential reversals around supply-and-demand areas.
  • Trades three Forex crosses: AUDNZD, NZDCAD and AUDCAD, with multi-currency operation from a single chart.
  • Offers four risk modes: Boring, Low, Medium and High, alongside a capital-allocation input.
  • Controls exposure: configurable trade-group limits and drawdown-triggered actions to stop entries or close EA positions.
  • Manages entries and exits: the latest release notes add entry modes, group-closing modes and a scheduled trading pause, with spread checks covering both opening and closing trades.

At a glance

Platform MetaTrader 5 Expert Advisor.
Markets / chart AUDNZD, NZDCAD and AUDCAD; one M5 chart.
Starting balance The developer recommends at least $500 for the three-pair setup. Suitable exposure depends on your risk settings and account conditions.
Trading style Reversal-oriented currency trading; grid and martingale options are available.
Our price $229.95.

Understand the trade grouping: the public manual documents grid and martingale as enabled by default. These options can be disabled, but changing them changes the strategy you are evaluating. A long history does not remove the possibility of substantial floating losses: the main signal recorded 38.57% relative equity drawdown at our 11 September 2026 check.

Choosing capital allocation and drawdown actions

Base Balance controls the capital used to calculate position size. On a $1,000 account, entering 50 uses $500 for that calculation; entering 100 uses the full $1,000. It does not ring-fence the remaining funds or set a maximum loss. Check the resulting lot size on the dashboard, particularly if you also change the personalised volume settings.

The drawdown controls perform two different jobs. Stop opening new positions blocks further entries while the EA continues managing its open trades. Closing all current positions closes the positions managed by Boring Pips when the chosen threshold is reached. You can express the threshold as a percentage or an amount in the account currency. These controls measure and act on Boring Pips positions; they are not an account-wide stop for your other EAs.

Why test the three pairs together in MT5?

AUDNZD, NZDCAD and AUDCAD can hold positions at the same time. MT5 lets you assess their combined profit and drawdown in one basket test, which is more useful than judging three separate curves. The developer recommends the real-tick testing model and an initial visual run to check that every configured pair is participating. Use the same risk mode, allocation and trading symbols you intend to run.

Prefer MetaTrader 4? We also stock Boring Pips EA MT4. Choose the edition for your terminal; the two platforms require different EA files. For a fuller comparison, see the signal, risk and MT4-versus-MT5 review.

Product FAQs

Boring Pips EA MT5 FAQs

Still deciding?

Real people on support, by Telegram or our contact form.

Which pairs and timeframe does Boring Pips MT5 use?

The recommended pairs are AUDNZD, NZDCAD and AUDCAD. Run the multi-currency EA on one M5 chart and select the intended symbols in its settings.

Does Boring Pips use grid or martingale?

Both are configurable options. The public manual documents them as enabled by default. Disabling either changes the trading configuration, so evaluate that setup rather than assuming the public signal will match it.

Is the linked long-running signal an MT5 account?

No. The developer’s Medium Risk and Low Risk signals are MT4 accounts. They provide a record for the Boring Pips system, but do not independently verify identical results for the latest MT5 build.

Which version is supplied, and can I update it?

This offer uses standalone file delivery. Free lifetime updates are included.
