A configurable gold strategy suite for MetaTrader 4

ET9 EA MT4 brings nine individually selectable strategies to an MT4 gold chart. The published design combines range/trend entries with longer-horizon H4 and D1 breakout logic, using separate stop-loss and take-profit levels for individual orders.

This edition is intended for traders keeping their XAUUSD workflow on MetaTrader 4. Its strategy switches and expanded management inputs let you choose which components run and how their entries, exits and lot sizes interact.

Platform: MetaTrader 4; use the separate MT5 edition for MetaTrader 5.

Match the settings to the MT4 account

The MT4 overview recommends XAUUSD, a low-spread broker and a reliable low-latency VPS. Although its current recommendation emphasizes gold, the March 2024 release notes also added GBPUSD to MT4. Validate the intended symbol and settings for your build; do not assume an MT5 preset transfers unchanged.

If you choose fixed lots, the source instructs you to disable AutoMM. With automatic sizing, inspect the resulting volume, stop risk and concurrent positions rather than relying on the Low/Medium/High labels alone. Individual protective stops do not eliminate losses from correlated gold entries, gaps or poor execution.

Does this edition run in MetaTrader 5?

No. This listing is for MetaTrader 4. Choose the separate ET9 MT5 edition for an MT5 terminal.

Which symbol does the MT4 overview recommend?

The current overview recommends XAUUSD, or gold. Its March 2024 release notes also added GBPUSD, so confirm the intended symbol and settings for your installed build rather than assuming an MT5 preset transfers unchanged.

Can ET9 trade several strategies at once?

Yes. Each ET1–ET9 component can be enabled or disabled. Several active components can create overlapping positions, so check aggregate account exposure.

Do the Risk labels specify a guaranteed maximum loss?

No. Low, Medium, High and Highest are configuration labels. Inspect the calculated lots, individual stops, concurrent positions and actual drawdown on your broker.
