DayTrade Pro Algo EA MT4 trades around major daily support and resistance levels across 12 Forex pairs and gold. OneChartSetup manages the chosen markets from a single EURUSD D1 chart, while stop loss, take profit and trailing controls handle the trade exits.
Its main appeal is a configurable multi-market strategy without having to run a separate chart for every pair. You can select the traded symbols, size positions using several methods and limit the number of open trades per pair.

Match risk to the whole portfolio
The recommended Max Risk Per Pair sizing method uses each market’s historical drawdown to calculate its lot size. It is not a guaranteed future loss limit or a total account-risk ceiling. Several Forex pairs can be exposed to the same currency move at once.
The optional OnlyUp setting retains larger sizing after losses instead of reducing it with the account balance. Review that setting alongside the daily-drawdown control, trade limits and any other EAs using the account.
Use the correct MT4 testing procedure
For MT4, the developer’s test procedure is to test each pair separately on M1 with OneChartSetup disabled. This is different from the live EURUSD D1 attachment and from the MT5 portfolio-testing setup. Confirm symbol names, contract sizes, minimum lots, margin requirements and overnight costs on your own broker’s demo account.
The developer recommends a minimum balance of $400. This is a starting guideline, not proof that every symbol combination or risk setting is suitable for that balance. Stop orders can also fill beyond their intended levels during gaps or slippage.

Which markets does DayTrade Pro Algo support?
The current list is EURUSD, GBPUSD, USDJPY, AUDUSD, XAUUSD, GBPJPY, USDCAD, EURJPY, EURNZD, EURAUD, NZDUSD, AUDJPY and CHFJPY. OneChartSetup can manage the selected symbols from one EURUSD Daily chart.
How do I set up and test the MT4 edition?
For a live MT4 setup, attach to EURUSD D1 and enable OneChartSetup. For MT4 testing, the developer instead specifies each pair separately on M1 with OneChartSetup disabled. The listing suggests Open Prices Only or Control Points for speed; compare alternative modeling and realistic costs rather than assuming every model gives the same result.
What does Max Risk Per Pair mean?
It sizes each market using its historical maximum drawdown, aiming to balance historical risk between pairs. The developer lists values of 3, 7 and 15 as low, medium and high examples. These values are not per-trade stop-loss percentages, a portfolio-wide drawdown limit or a guarantee that future losses stay below a chosen level.
What does OnlyUp do?
OnlyUp prevents position sizing from falling after losses. Retaining the previous size on a smaller account increases exposure relative to the remaining capital. It should be evaluated deliberately rather than treated as a safety feature.
Does a prop-firm preset guarantee compliance?
No. The developer provides daily-drawdown controls, a weekend-close option and historical prop-oriented settings. Check the firm’s current limits, reset time, news restrictions and allowed strategies yourself. Trades from other EAs also contribute to account-level losses.
Is the public performance record for both editions?
The reviewed forward account uses MT4. It provides evidence about that monitored account, not independent proof that the MT5 executable will reproduce every trade. The shared review separates platform, test and live-account evidence.
Can I use this edition on MT5?
No. Choose the separate MT5 edition for that platform.
What do I download after purchase?
