Kronos Engine X EA MT4 uses Parabolic SAR direction and MACD momentum to filter gold pending-order entries on M5.
Two conditions before a gold entry
Kronos Engine X separates directional bias from momentum confirmation. Its SAR module establishes direction, while MACD must align before the execution module can authorize an entry. The system trades XAUUSD using Buy Stop and Sell Stop pending orders.
The developer’s register-style naming groups inputs by function: signal processing, session timing, trade frequency and execution. These labels organize the controls; they should not be mistaken for a separate hardware requirement.
Spacing, sessions and stops
- Platform and chart: MT4, XAUUSD M5.
- Trade pacing: minimum candle intervals or elapsed time.
- Sizing: fixed lots or a percentage of available balance.
- Execution gates: a maximum spread and a configurable session.
- Management: stop-loss and adaptive trailing settings.
A SAR overlay is displayed on the chart. Chart colors can be customized independently of the entry logic.
Broker conditions are part of the setup
The source favors low-spread execution and a low minimum stop distance. Confirm both on the exact gold symbol offered by your broker; symbol names alone do not tell you how contract sizes or order restrictions compare.
Test pending-order fills, commission and slippage as well as the directional signals. A strategy that appears effective before costs may behave differently on a broker with a wider gold spread, particularly when stops or targets are tight.
