EMA entries with a volatility gate
Axon separates the direction signal from the conditions needed to act on it. A fast EMA crossing the slow EMA supplies the buy or sell direction. The ATR gate then compares recent volatility with a longer reference, screening out unusually quiet or volatile conditions.
This is a focused technical system for traders who want identifiable inputs to inspect on a gold chart. The moving averages are drawn on the chart, making the directional setup easier to follow.
Control when another trade can open
The frequency controls can require a minimum number of candles or elapsed minutes between trades. A separate session window uses broker server time. These settings matter because an acceptable entry signal can recur while exposure from an earlier trade remains open.

- Position sizing: fixed volume or balance-based percentage mode.
- Exits: configurable stop-loss and trailing settings.
Check the gold contract before trading
The source configuration uses a substantial fixed lot size. Treat that as a setting to review, rather than a suitable risk level for every account. Gold contract size, quote precision and stop-distance rules differ across brokers; a points-based stop must be checked against the actual symbol specification.
An ATR filter does not guarantee avoidance of news losses. Test the selected sizing, session window and execution costs on a demo account before live use.

Which chart does Axon Engine XAU use?
The current source specifies XAUUSD on an M5 chart in MetaTrader 4. Use the broker’s actual gold symbol and check its contract specification.
How does the entry frequency control work?
