Product description
About Nasdaq H1 Breakout Expert MT5
Nasdaq H1 Breakout Expert MT5 trades a completed hourly close beyond a recent high/low channel. Its ATR confirmation buffer requires more than a small move through the boundary, and ATR-based stops adapt the initial trade distance to volatility. The Nasdaq-100 setup includes risk-based sizing, daily loss protection and one-position limits.
A channel built before the breakout candle
The EA calculates the highest high and lowest low of previous completed H1 candles. The default lookback is 20 candles. Crucially, the candidate breakout candle is excluded from those channel boundaries, so the threshold comes from the preceding range rather than being moved by the same bar that is being tested.
A buy may be accepted when the latest completed hourly candle closes above the prior high by the required ATR-based distance. A sell uses a close below the prior low with the same type of confirmation. This makes the signal a completed-bar breakout, not simply an intrabar touch of a previous high or low.
The default BreakoutATRMultiplier is 0.5. Requiring an extra half-ATR move is designed to filter small boundary crossings, but the threshold also changes how far price has already traveled before entry. The relevant question in testing is whether that confirmation improves the balance between weak breakouts and late entries under your broker’s costs.
Initial stops, targets and trade limits
The default initial stop uses ATR 14×1.5. Take Profit is twice that stop distance through a reward/risk setting of 2.0. The EA checks minimum stop distances and other symbol-specific requirements before placing an order. This initial relationship is a settings description; a profitable outcome or a fixed loss amount is not guaranteed.
Risk-based sizing uses available free margin and a default 1% risk setting, together with stop distance, tick value, tick size and permitted volume increments. The EA can reduce volume when required margin is too high. If the broker’s minimum volume cannot be opened within available margin, it does not place the trade.
A 3% daily loss limit is included to stop new trades for the remainder of the day after the configured threshold is reached. Maximum one position per symbol/Magic Number and one new entry per H1 candle control repeated exposure. Spread, trading-session, free-margin and order-validation checks are described, with optional ATR trailing disabled by default.
Using the Nasdaq-100 edition
Recognized instrument examples include NAS100, US100, USTEC, NASDAQ100, NDX, USTECH100 and USTECH_100; common broker suffixes may be supported. The logic internally uses H1, and the selected instrument’s trading sessions and contract specifications still matter. Confirm those details before transferring a test configuration between accounts.
The product is most straightforward to evaluate as a range-expansion strategy. It does not require a pullback toward a moving average before entry. A trend can begin with a breakout, but sideways conditions can generate false breaks that pass the filter and then reverse. The ATR buffer is a way to qualify entries, not a way to eliminate that failure mode.
Test the breakout lookback and confirmation distance across different volatility periods, keeping spread and execution assumptions realistic. Use a demo forward test to inspect the actual channel, entry timing and calculated lot size. The original developer screenshot below is included for inspection with its provenance; it is not presented as independently verified live performance.

Product FAQs
Nasdaq H1 Breakout Expert MT5 FAQs
Real people on support, by Telegram or our contact form.
Is the breakout candle included in the channel?
No. The previous channel excludes the candidate breakout candle. The default channel covers 20 prior completed H1 candles.
What does the ATR breakout multiplier change?
It adds a volatility-adjusted distance beyond the channel boundary before the completed close can qualify. The published default is 0.5×ATR.
Does it open a trade on an intrabar spike?
The described signals use completed H1 candles, so the overview requires a qualifying completed close rather than merely an unfinished hourly price spike.
What does the order download contain?
The order provides DeliveryInformation.txt with instructions to contact CheaperForex and confirm delivery of the product files. It is an instructions document, not the trading executable. Free lifetime updates are included.
Is optional installation help available?
Yes. Optional free remote installation help is available for this product. Follow the instructions in your order to arrange assistance.
