About Nasdaq H1 Pullback Expert MT5

Nasdaq H1 Pullback Expert MT5 identifies an established Nasdaq-100 trend, waits for a retracement toward its EMA zone and then checks that momentum is returning. It combines EMA 20/50/200, RSI recovery and optional ADX/ATR filters. Its stop calculation considers both volatility and the recent pullback swing.

Trend, retracement and renewed momentum

For a bullish background, price is above EMA 200, EMA 50 is above EMA 200 and EMA 50 slopes upward. The bearish background reverses those relationships. Once direction qualifies, EMA 20 and EMA 50 define the pullback area. The default lookback for identifying the retracement is five completed H1 candles.

The pullback alone does not open a trade. A buy also requires RSI to recover above its configured bullish level while rising, plus bullish confirmation from the latest completed hourly candle. A sell requires RSI to fall below its bearish level while declining, with corresponding bearish candle confirmation. RSI 14 uses default levels 52 and 48.

An optional ADX filter is enabled by default with period 14 and minimum 20. Directional indicators also confirm trend direction. The optional ATR filter assesses whether volatility is within the acceptable configured range. Together these controls narrow the eligible pullbacks, but they can also exclude moves that continue without a qualifying retracement.

Stops based on volatility and the pullback swing

The initial protection compares an ATR-based distance with a recent swing-based level. The default ATR component is 1.5×ATR; a buy can also consider the pullback swing low and a sell the swing high. The developer describes using the safer distance while respecting broker specifications. The exact resulting level is worth inspecting in a test rather than assuming every stop equals the ATR distance.

Take Profit is calculated from that actual Stop Loss distance, with a default reward/risk ratio of 2.0. Risk sizing uses available free margin, stop distance, tick value, tick size and broker volume constraints. The default risk is 1%. Volume can be reduced for margin availability, and a trade is skipped if the minimum allowed volume cannot be opened.

Default daily equity-loss protection is 3%. Once reached, new positions stop for the rest of that trading day while existing management can continue; the protection resets for the next day. The listing also specifies one position per symbol/Magic Number, one entry per H1 candle, no martingale, no recovery grid and no averaging down. These are documented design rules, not independent performance verification.

Broker checks and the strategy’s trade-off

Other protections include maximum spread, trading-session checks, volume validation, and Stop Level/Freeze Level checks. Optional ATR trailing is disabled by default. Common Nasdaq symbols such as NAS100, US100, USTEC and NDX are named, alongside other Nasdaq-100 variants and possible broker prefixes or suffixes.

Our assessment is that this edition is useful to compare with the seller’s direct trend and breakout entries because the retracement is a separate requirement. Waiting for it can avoid some extended entry locations, but the pullback can deepen into a reversal and the extra conditions can leave a strong uninterrupted move untraded.

Use broker-specific Nasdaq history in MT5 testing and inspect trades around trend changes, not only smooth trending intervals. Check that the selected swing stop, calculated volume and daily-entry stop behave as intended. Forward-testing on demo adds information about spread, execution and symbol recognition that a developer gallery image cannot establish by itself.

Nasdaq H1 Pullback Expert MT5 FAQs

Still deciding?

Real people on support, by Telegram or our contact form.

Does touching EMA 20 immediately open a trade?

No. Trend direction, an eligible pullback and renewed RSI/candle momentum must qualify. The EMA zone is only one stage of the process.

Is every initial stop exactly 1.5×ATR?

No. The default ATR component is 1.5×ATR, but the EA also considers the pullback swing level and broker specifications before selecting protection.

Does it average down after losses?

The current developer overview explicitly describes no martingale, no recovery grid and no averaging down, alongside a one-position-per-symbol/Magic-Number rule.

What does the order download contain?

The order provides DeliveryInformation.txt with instructions to contact CheaperForex and confirm delivery of the product files. It is an instructions document, not the trading executable. Free lifetime updates are included.
