Neural gold trading with defined trade protection

Nova Range EA MT5 trades XAUUSD on M5, combining a neural-network decision model with predefined stop-loss protection, break-even and trailing management. Developer Vladimir Lekhovitser describes its analytical core as an iTransformer model trained to recognize relationships in market data.

Entries are selective, with variable trading frequency. The developer describes a two-position limit without grid, martingale or position averaging.

Set Broker Time to the trading-server offset. The MT5-calendar news filter pauses new entries around relevant releases; it does not close existing positions or change stops. Stop-loss, take-profit and trailing rules are built in.

Gaps and slippage can still cause substantial losses. Keep MT5 connected for active management and test the intended broker, sizing and gold contract specifications.

Which chart and account does Nova Range require?

Use MetaTrader 5 with XAUUSD on M5 and a hedging account. The developer specifies a minimum deposit equivalent to $500 and leverage of 1:30 or higher. These are setup guidelines, not guarantees that the balance will withstand future losses.

How does its neural model trade?

The developer describes a trained iTransformer model that evaluates relationships in market data and selects qualifying entries. It trades automatically but not on a daily schedule. Quiet periods do not by themselves indicate a fault.

Does it use grid or martingale?

The developer says Nova Range uses neither grid, martingale nor position averaging, and allows up to two simultaneous positions with predefined stop-loss protection. We have not independently inspected the executable. Stops and the position limit do not eliminate trading risk.

Does Risk Level mean percentage risk per trade?

No. The developer’s shared manual defines it as lot size per $1,000 of balance or equity. Fixed-lot sizing is also available. Historical drawdown estimates associated with risk settings are not enforceable maximum losses.

What does the news filter do?

It uses MT5’s built-in economic calendar to block new entries around relevant USD and gold news. It does not close existing trades or change their stop-loss or take-profit. No external calendar WebRequest address is required.

Which settings need particular attention?

Check Risk Level, the actual broker-server time offset and gold contract specifications. Each EA instance needs its own Magic Number. Stop-loss, take-profit and trailing logic are built in; the shared manual does not present them as user-adjustable distances. Keep MT5 connected while trades require active management.

What is the post-purchase download?

DeliveryInformation.txt contains delivery instructions. It is a text document, not the trading executable.
