- Portfolio signal: XYZ Fund A — eight EAs, not OilVector alone
OilVector X MT5 trades WTI crude oil using daily breakout levels, with a structural stop loss, fixed take profit and early breakeven management. It adds oil-market exposure to an automated portfolio, with an on-chart statistics dashboard and configurable evaluation-account risk controls.
Daily oil breakouts with individual trade protection
Developed by Jeffrey Adeniyi Richard Ajani of XYZ Capital, OilVector X targets upward oil momentum. The developer describes a stop loss on each trade from entry and no grid, martingale or recovery sequences. The strategy uses its own daily timing rather than the attached chart timeframe.
- WTI symbols such as XTIUSD, USOUSD or WTI, subject to broker specification.
- Structural stops, fixed targets and movement toward breakeven.
- Daily loss ceiling, starting-balance total-loss ceiling and optional daily profit lock.
- Persistent dashboard statistics and equity curve across restarts.
- Optional entry/SL/TP randomization and a state-reset input.
Broker conditions and continuous operation
The developer recommends Darwinex, with IC Markets/IC Trading as alternatives, and explicitly says the EA is broker-sensitive. Compare contract size, tick value, minimum lots, spread, swaps and trading sessions on your chosen oil symbol. The public minimum balance depends on sizing; the developer suggests at least 1,000 for backtesting, not a universal live-account minimum.
Use a VPS and demo testing. The listing reports that an earlier Darwinex signal was removed after a VPS shutdown left trades unprotected. That account history makes it important to verify which protections are broker-held and which need the terminal running. A timer-driven fallback still needs an operating terminal.
Public signal: positive start, small sample
On 16 September 2026, the linked oil-only MQL5 real-account signal showed 52.41% growth, 30 closed trades and 5.99% relative equity drawdown. MQL5 warns that the trade count is too small to evaluate quality. Its 100% closed-trade win rate is historical, not a promise that future trades cannot lose.

Evaluation-account controls
Daily-loss protection is described as halting new trades once the threshold is crossed. Do not assume that this necessarily closes existing positions or exactly matches a particular firm’s loss calculation. Confirm the firm’s current rules and the EA’s actual behaviour before using an evaluation account.
