About SmartChoise EA MT4

SmartChoise EA MT4 brings Gabriel Costin Floricel’s neural-network and recovery approach to Gold trading on MetaTrader 4. The developer specifies XAUUSD on M15, with adaptive lot sizing, four risk levels and a choice of Conservative or Aggressive trading style.

A distinct MT4 edition

This is a separate platform release with a simplified set of controls. Its listing describes neural-network entries and an enhanced Trend strategy, together with panel buttons for manual entries and recovery. It should not be treated as an identical copy of the continually revised MT5 edition.

Adjustable activity: select a risk level and trading style to change position sizing and trading behavior.
Recovery management: the system can add trades while attempting to manage an existing drawdown.
Exit controls: virtual take profit, stop loss and trailing stop, plus a Hard Stop percentage.
Entry filters: maximum spread and configurable pauses around scheduled news.
Manual panel: buttons and trade comments help distinguish automated entries from manual and recovery actions.

Choose the exit behavior deliberately

The MT4 listing highlights an important interaction: setting take profit or trailing stop replaces the EA’s internal profit-closing logic with those selected exit levels. Changing these settings changes how trades finish, so test the complete configuration rather than assuming each extra control leaves the original behavior intact.

The developer describes SmartChoise as non-martingale. That does not remove recovery risk: adding positions can increase exposure while the original trade remains underwater. Small balances have less room for prolonged drawdown. Check lot size, stop settings and combined account exposure before live use.

Virtual exits require the EA and terminal to stay connected. News filtering needs the documented WebRequest permission. Use the shared public manual as a guide to terminology, then check which inputs are present in the MT4 build: the developer says some MT5 options were removed.
