The Forex Exchanger EA MT5 is a multi-currency Forex system built around overbought/oversold reversals and basket management. Fabio Cavalloni’s approach looks for directional confirmation before entry and can average an existing position when further qualifying setups occur. It suits traders who want a configurable currency portfolio and understand that adding trades increases exposure.

Portfolio controls that matter

  • Trade the default 28-pair basket or choose individual Forex symbols.
  • Set broker prefixes and suffixes to match your Market Watch names.
  • Control new entries separately from additions to open baskets.
  • Limit exposure by currency, rather than relying only on a count of symbols.
  • Choose balance or equity for position sizing and configure basket exits.

A practical example: EURUSD and EURGBP are different instruments, but both can carry exposure to the euro. Before enabling a wide basket, decide how much shared currency risk you are prepared to hold. The count of pairs alone does not establish diversification.

Before enabling automated trading

Use an MT5 demo account to check symbol recognition, order sizes, margin requirements and how your selected settings behave during an adverse move. Review swaps as well as spread: a basket held for several days can accumulate financing costs. A VPS helps with continuity, but does not remove market or execution risk.

Keep a written record of the settings used for each test. If you change entry filters, lot sizing and exits simultaneously, you will not know which change produced the difference. Compare one controlled change at a time before considering live use.

Read the equity history, not just the growth

The linked accounts provide a substantial history to investigate, but their equity drawdowns are much deeper than their balance drawdowns. Our review shows both measures together, alongside the older simulations and dated feedback. This is a recovery-basket strategy; it should not be treated as a low-risk substitute for a savings account.
