Scraper Gold MT5 is an XAUUSD breakout EA with four selectable engines. It places pending stop orders around unbroken swing structure, attaches SL/TP and manages each engine with its own trailing and exit rules. Its current Fixed Entry profile combines fixed entry distances with wider exits and permits several positions.
Our assessment: the appeal is a clearly described gold-breakout framework with useful control over engines, profiles and execution. It suits traders prepared to check actual broker fills and total gold exposure. The main considerations are correlated positions, minimum-lot risk on small accounts and the short, configuration-specific public records. Sources were checked 7 November 2026; this is a source-based review, not a firsthand terminal test or an independently reproduced backtest.

Four engines, one underlying gold market
Kriscandra Rumbang Atmaja describes the entry model as a search for swing highs and lows that remain unbroken. The engines use pending stop orders and cancel obsolete orders according to their expiry, session, Friday-close and news rules. A pending order is an instruction to enter if its level is reached; a fast move can still create slippage.
- Scrap A
- Short-term H1 structure. Under Fixed Entry it can hold up to five open positions and adds a new pending order only if that order improves on every waiting Scrap A order.
- Scrap B
- A session breakout engine that requires two scans to confirm a level and trades each level once. Its published session is 01:15–22:15 server time; Fixed Entry closes its positions at session end and adds a short pause after each closed trade.
- Scrap C
- Medium swing structure, searching up to 200 H1 bars and skipping levels already crossed by the current candle.
- Scrap D
- Major structure breakouts around larger swing levels.
Independent engine controls are useful for comparing results and limiting activity. They do not make the positions independent investments: all four engines trade XAUUSD and can react to the same gold move. The developer’s no-grid, no-martingale description should not be read as a single-position limit.
Fixed Entry changes more than an input label
The current listing shows version 3.70, updated 19 October 2026. Fixed Entry became the default in 3.7, using fixed entry distances and wider stop-loss, take-profit and trailing settings. Scrap B, C and D can keep a pending order waiting while a trade is already running.
Classic retains the earlier behavior. Adaptive Entry changes entry distance using recent closed trades; Wide Exit uses later, wider trailing and its own SL/TP per side. Profiles can be mixed across engines. A result from Classic is therefore not interchangeable with a result from the newer default, and widening a stop can change the loss per lot even if the entry idea remains familiar.
Per-engine direction, custom exits and three sizing methods offer flexibility. Compare the combined exposure after selecting inputs: five small positions can create a material total loss at their stops, particularly if other engines are also active.
Execution and protection need the right conditions
Slippage compensation uses recorded broker fills to adjust entry and trailing distances, with Off, Soft, Medium and Hard choices. The developer also describes pre-order checks for volume, stop distance, free margin and MT5 OrderCheck, plus support for common gold suffixes and two- or three-decimal quotes.
Hard SL/TP is attached to orders, while optional virtual trailing provides a fallback if broker stop or freeze levels prevent an SL change. That fallback depends on the terminal detecting the level and sending a market close. A VPS and continuous connection remain relevant even when a broker-side initial stop exists.
The listed spread gate applies specifically to Scrap C and D above 80 points; it should not be assumed to block every engine. Optional USD news filtering can pause entries, and Friday cleanup follows the broker’s own session close. The optional daily-loss check compares equity with day-start balance, removes pending orders and can close the EA’s positions. Its configuration and execution cannot guarantee a fixed account-loss ceiling or compliance with a particular prop firm’s rules.
Two public configurations, checked 7 November 2026
The developer links separate Classic and Fixed Entry accounts. The following are dated MQL5 snapshots, rather than promised outcomes or an identical-settings comparison. Both records display a newly opened-account warning and a warning about negative slippage when copying deals. Copying a signal is a separate service from purchasing this EA.
ScraperGold Classic — signal 2392705
- Account and history
- VantageMarkets-Live 15, MT5, 1:500 leverage. Started 24 September 2026; MQL5 displays seven weeks and 205 trades.
- Account snapshot
- 66.59% growth; $200 initial deposit, $133.17 profit and $333.17 balance/equity, with no additional deposits or withdrawals reported.
- Risk and trading
- Profit factor 2.19; relative balance drawdown 6.97%, relative equity drawdown 5.19% and maximum deposit load 16.75%. Average holding time: three minutes.
This account began on the retail publication date and spans the subsequent profile changes. Its current Classic label and description of default settings do not establish that every historical trade used one unchanged configuration. Seven weeks offers more context than a few trades, but does not demonstrate behavior across a full range of gold market conditions.
ScraperGold Fixed Entry — signal 2396229
- Account and history
- VantageMarkets-Live 13, MT5, 1:500 leverage. Started 19 October 2026; MQL5 displays three weeks and 96 trades.
- Account snapshot
- 48.88% growth; $500 initial deposit, $244.38 profit and $744.38 balance/equity, with no additional deposits or withdrawals reported.
- Risk and trading
- Profit factor 2.04; relative balance drawdown 13.04%, relative equity drawdown 4.36% and maximum deposit load 46.14%. Average holding time: five minutes.
The newer account is the listing’s fixed-lot example of the current default profile. Its larger initial balance, different trade sample and maximum deposit load prevent a simple ranking of the two profiles by growth percentage. The recorded 13.04% relative balance drawdown is not the same metric as 4.36% relative equity drawdown; neither is a future loss limit.

Customer feedback and the minimum-lot issue
The listing displayed 17 customer reviews at this check. Recent feedback praises support and disciplined entries, but most described experiences are measured in days or weeks. These are MQL5 customer opinions, separate from CheaperForex verified-purchase ratings and independent performance verification.
For example, asayan990’s 3 November review reports profitable trading since 15 October while also reporting 20.43% maximum drawdown. The developer’s reply acknowledges that this drawdown is high and relates the exposure to a small balance and the minimum 0.01 lot. Neither the customer’s reported result nor that explanation establishes one risk level for every account.
“I have been using this EA since October 15, and I am very satisfied with the results.”
In another public reply, the developer explains that Low Risk and Default can use the same 0.01 lot on a $400 account. A separate small-account reply estimates that one full stop could cost 5–10% of a $100 balance. Those are contextual warnings about minimum trade size, not promised loss ranges. Moving a risk setting downward cannot force a broker to accept a smaller lot.
What to check before enabling all four engines
The recommended host is one XAUUSD H1 chart, using standard 100-ounce contract specifications and a low-spread RAW/ECN account. The developer’s stated starting balance is $200. Confirm the actual gold contract, stop value, minimum lot, spread and server session on your broker rather than treating that balance as an assurance of suitable funding.
Start by observing the chosen profiles on demo with realistic trading costs. Inspect overlapping trades, total stop exposure, session-end behavior and whether the daily-loss close option is enabled. Evaluate floating equity drawdown and execution as well as final profit. Turning on every engine increases the number of possible entries, without establishing that the combination improves returns after costs.
