The Bitcoin Core EA MT5 trades BTCUSD using multiple independent breakout entries. Jimmy Peter Eriksson’s system looks for price moves that continue beyond selected levels, then manages positions with volatility-sensitive stops and several exit styles.
A Bitcoin breakout system with flexible trade management
- Several entry models: enable or disable individual models to test different combinations.
- Three exit styles: trailing stops, take-profit exits and time-based closures.
- Adjustable exposure: Low, Medium and High presets, manual risk and fixed-lot options.
- Trading-time controls: Off, Standard and Strict filters plus optional Friday closure.
- Account controls: daily drawdown protection, trade randomisation, Magic Number and trade comments.
The developer describes the strategy as using no grid or martingale. Its trend-following approach can nevertheless produce repeated losing trades while Bitcoin moves sideways; the aim is to capture larger moves when breakouts continue.
