Strategy and trade selection
The system looks for price leaving a trading range, with the opposite side of that structure providing a potential invalidation area. Internal filters decide whether the break qualifies. Unlike Edge Boost Pro, the source describes a breakout strategy rather than a combined breakout-and-rebound system. The exact range calculation and filter thresholds remain proprietary.
How the settings change behaviour
The reward/risk multiplier determines the target relative to the stop, and also influences whether a setup is accepted. Changing it can reduce or increase trade frequency rather than simply rescaling the exit. The developer says both exit levels remain unchanged after entry. Daily-loss and peak-drawdown limits complement the spread and two-calendar news filters.
The central challenge is distinguishing a lasting breakout from a brief sweep beyond the range. The filters may reject some poor entries, but cannot eliminate false breaks. Test trending and range-bound periods separately and inspect the longest losing sequence. A stop beyond the range can provide a clear invalidation point, yet the monetary loss still depends on position size, gap risk and execution.

A smooth result line shows the selected historical test, not the complete range of possible future outcomes. The developer estimates around five to ten trades per instrument per week, depending on market conditions, timeframe and settings. That is an operating estimate rather than a promise of activity or profit.
