The developer describes a one-position approach without grid, averaging or martingale. It seeks established movement rather than predicting a reversal. Configure stop distance in points or as a price percentage, a fixed target, trailing behaviour and exits when momentum weakens or reverses.

The source recommends the 08:00–15:00 UTC window, RAW/ECN execution and an XAUUSD spread up to 30 cents. Set the tester’s GMT offset correctly. News pauses can be filtered by impact, currency and event keywords, but the developer says the news filter does not operate in Strategy Tester. Live trading therefore need not match a backtest.
