Manage three markets as a portfolio

EURUSD, GBPUSD and EURGBP share currencies, so three open pairs need not represent three independent risks. News Catcher includes both a simultaneous-symbol limit and a net-currency-direction limit. These give you a more useful way to control overlap than relying on the lot size of each trade alone.

Scheduled opportunities: entries can occur shortly before high-impact news when the configured window permits.
Multiple sizing methods: fixed, dynamic and percentage-risk approaches with a maximum-lot cap.

MT5 account mode matters

The developer specifies a hedging account. Check this before installation; an MT5 netting account is not the documented setup. Attach the EA to one M5 chart, preferably EURUSD, and enter the exact supported symbol names used by your broker. Do not add several identical copies merely because the EA trades several pairs.

Selective trading still needs risk limits

The system does not promise daily trades. A news window, market conditions and enabled filters can all prevent entry. When positions do open, the optional grid and multiplier settings can add exposure, while minimum-margin and floating-drawdown controls help define limits. Inspect the actual configuration before funding a live account.

Release history includes machine-learning pattern filtering and optional forecast filters. Those features are configurable tools, not independent evidence of profitability. The gallery illustrates a forecast panel with a different build label from the public release header; our review explains that discrepancy rather than treating artwork as a delivery specification.

Check results and setup together

The developer links an MT5 real account, and our review places its gains beside its historical equity drawdown and losing-trade sizes. Which pairs and chart does it use?

EURUSD, GBPUSD and EURGBP from one M5 chart, with EURUSD recommended as the host. Include broker suffixes in the symbol names.

Does the news filter avoid every announcement?

No. This strategy can enter before high-impact news. The allowed event window and other settings determine when it trades.

Does News Catcher use grid trading?

The release notes document an optional grid with multipliers and trade limits. Check the selected settings; do not assume every configuration uses one position.

Does it need a SET file?
