Gold Breakout PRO EA MT5 Review: Strategy and Live Signal

By 6 min read

Gold Breakout PRO EA MT5 trades XAUUSD using a highest–lowest breakout approach. Daophet Seng Athit’s current listing specifies H4 and combines per-trade risk control with stops, targets and losing-trade exits. Its appeal is a defined gold breakout method supported by a public forward account, rather than a recovery basket.

Our assessment: the public record is worth studying, particularly for traders comfortable with intermittent entries and material drawdowns. Strong headline growth comes with concentrated winning periods, changing leverage and a history spanning software revisions. This review examines public documentation and account evidence; we have not independently traded the EA or reproduced the developer’s tests. CheaperForex sells this product.

What the breakout approach means in practice

The developer calls the entry method Highest–Lowest. That describes the broad structure, but the public overview does not disclose the full entry formula or every filter. We would not infer an exact lookback, pending-order method or trade-frequency target from that label.

A useful test is how the EA behaves when gold repeatedly crosses a recent boundary without sustaining the move. A breakout can look convincing at entry and reverse quickly; stops and losing-trade exits therefore matter as much as the entry level. The listing says the system avoids grids and martingale. That removes those particular recovery mechanisms, but it does not establish low risk or a one-position limit.

The linked signal description adds trailing protection, a daily trade limit and a stated 3.5% risk per trade. Treat those as the provider’s account description, not a promise that every delivered preset uses identical exposure. Several open positions can make aggregate risk larger than one trade’s setting.

The public signal: growth and account context

On September 29, 2026, Gold Breakout PRO All Star showed 39 weeks of history, starting December 30, 2025. MQL5 labeled it a real MT5 account at ICMarketsSC-MT5-2. Reported growth was 1,420.60%, with 116 closed trades and a profit factor of 2.25.

Genuine MQL5 Gold Breakout PRO All Star MT5 signal screenshot, captured September 29, 2026. MQL5 labels the ICMarketsSC-MT5-2 account Real. The 1,420.60% growth figure appears alongside leverage changes and a warning that 80% of growth occurred within 10 days; past results do not establish future returns.

The account reported $1,991.84 profit and $1,788.73 balance/equity at capture. Its cash history included a $1,517 initial deposit, $926.50 additional deposits and $2,646.61 withdrawals. The growth percentage is consequently not a simple instruction to multiply the original deposit by the displayed return. The cash figures help explain why a large percentage and the remaining balance look very different.

MQL5 also flagged that 80% of growth occurred within ten days. This concentration is important when deciding whether a shorter sample reflects the overall experience: a few exceptional bursts can dominate months of quieter results. The monthly chart includes a losing July, and September was incomplete when captured.

Drawdown, leverage and what the account actually traded

The statistics showed 35.31% relative balance drawdown and 24.99% relative equity drawdown. They are separate reported measures; neither should be replaced by a smaller percentage from another dollar-drawdown row. These figures make the account more useful as evidence, but they also rule out describing the history as a smooth or nearly loss-free progression.

MQL5 statistics showing trades, profit factor, balance and equity drawdown, and instrument distribution
Genuine MQL5 statistics, captured September 29, 2026: 116 trades, profit factor 2.25, 35.31% relative balance drawdown and 24.99% equity drawdown. The distribution includes 114 XAUUSD trades and two BTCUSD trades, so the full account record is not exclusively gold.

Current leverage was 1:100, while the source warned of two changes across a 1:100–1:1000 range. Leverage is a margin allowance, not a direct measure of risk per trade, but changed conditions weaken any assumption that the entire record used one unchanged setup. Trade distribution was 114 XAUUSD trades and two BTCUSD trades. The account is predominantly gold, yet its aggregate results are not exclusively gold evidence.

We would compare the traded settings, exposure and execution conditions before expecting similar behavior elsewhere. A public account supplies valuable forward observations; it does not show that a fresh installation, different broker or later build will reproduce them.

What the developer’s validation contributes

The MQL5 listing describes real-tick, Monte Carlo, out-of-sample and walk-forward work. Those methods can test sensitivity to trade order, changing market periods and parameter selection. They become convincing through reproducible inputs and results, rather than the names of the methods alone.

The original simulation above shows an H4 XAUUSD test period from January 2020 to July 2026. It is developer evidence, distinct from the live signal. We did not find a public downloadable validation report that would let us reproduce the full research process.

The overview specifies ten walk-forward runs and 30% out-of-sample data. Another gallery image includes a selected 30% run and a recommended 20% combination with different windows. Multiple configurations are not inherently a contradiction, but the screenshot alone cannot verify every current setting claimed in the overview. We would ask for the corresponding test report before treating a specific optimization window as independently established.

Periodic parameter reoptimization also differs from autonomous learning inside a live terminal. The public material does not establish that the EA continually retrains itself, or that users should change parameters on a fixed calendar date.

Customer feedback and release history

The product’s Reviews tab displayed a count of two; one written customer comment was visible at our check. The selected June 2025 comment below praises the seller’s help and explanations. That supports a narrow observation about that customer’s experience; it does not independently verify profitability or establish support terms for a CheaperForex purchase.

Genuine MQL5 customer review by Cristian-bogdan Buzatu, posted June 18, 2025 and captured September 29, 2026. This customer opinion praises the product and seller support; it is not verified performance evidence or a CheaperForex verified-purchase rating.

Read the original MQL5 product reviews in context. They are separate from CheaperForex verified-purchase feedback. Reviews attached to the signal are also a different service: their comments about inactivity or position exposure should not be blended into the product’s review score.

At our September 29 check, the current marketplace release was 1.6, dated August 6, 2026. Recent notes mention trading fixes; earlier revisions changed stop, trailing and exit behavior. The signal’s history spans those revisions, so it cannot be described as a controlled test of version 1.6 alone.

Setup priorities and who it suits

Use the current H4 XAUUSD instructions for this specific edition. The seller also lists a separate H1 product; similarly named listings and old screenshots are not interchangeable setup guides. The stated starting-balance range is $500–$1,000, with IC Markets used as a broker reference. Check your own gold contract size, minimum lot, spread and symbol suffix before setting risk.

Our practical priorities would be a demo run to verify entries and exits, checking the terminal journal, and assessing simultaneous exposure. A balance guideline does not tell you whether the broker’s smallest trade size fits your chosen stop distance. Keep the exact settings and supplied build recorded so later observations remain comparable.

This EA is most relevant to someone seeking an H4 gold breakout method who will examine the forward record beyond its headline percentage. The strong growth is a reason to investigate further; the drawdown, concentrated gains and evolving account conditions belong in the same decision.
