Gold trading with an AI-assisted strategy lab

FlyBrain EA MT5 combines automated XAUUSD trading with an on-chart research panel. Choose between two supplied gold presets, adjust ACTIVITY, STYLE and LOT controls, or use AI BUILD to explore alternative settings. The developer describes stop loss and take profit on every order, without grid, martingale or averaging.

The distinctive feature is the feedback loop between testing and trading: FlyBrain searches settings, compares candidates on data outside the initial search period, and presents a result before you apply a preset. Its offline assistant can guide the workflow without an API key; connecting an external AI provider is optional.

Presets, research and account controls

Two supplied gold presets: PAIR LOCK and ACTIVE are identified by the developer as tested in the MT5 Strategy Tester. AI LAB stores candidates from the built-in research process.
AI BUILD and scheduled optimization: explore new settings and compare them with the running preset. Results are labeled BETTER, MIXED or CORE WINS rather than assuming every search improves the strategy.
On-chart testing: inspect 30-day, 90-day and one-year periods without leaving the panel. Preserve the preset and test assumptions before putting a candidate into use.
Account protection inputs: daily loss, maximum loss and profit target settings, plus closing before the weekend.
Practical interface: a five-step setup wizard, 12 interface languages, seven themes, Telegram alerts/control and ECO mode for VPS operation.

Primary market: XAUUSD (gold), on any chart timeframe. Other symbols are presented as research and learning options.
Preset controls: PAIR LOCK, ACTIVE, AI LAB candidates and ACTIVITY / STYLE / LOT sliders, with conventional EA inputs also available.
Position protection: Per-order stop loss and take profit; no grid, martingale or averaging described by the developer.
Assistant modes: STANDARD works offline without an API key. BOOSTED uses your supported external provider credentials.

Offline assistance or optional external AI

STANDARD explains FlyBrain’s commands, reports, setup and testing procedures locally. BOOSTED supports services including Gemini, Groq, ChatGPT, Claude, Grok, DeepSeek and OpenRouter. External services require your credentials and the appropriate MT5 WebRequest permissions; provider availability and usage charges are separate from the EA purchase. Manual assistant proposals use confirmation; the scheduled optimization illustration also shows a choice between asking first and applying automatically. Check that setting before enabling the schedule.

Test the preset and the account risk

XAUUSD is the developer’s recommended market. Silver, indices and currencies can be explored in the research panel, but that does not give them the same evidence as the supplied gold presets. Check your broker’s contract size, symbol suffix, spread and lot calculation on demo first. The listing’s floating-lot example is 0.01 lot per 1,000 of balance when its setting is 10; confirm the actual volume in your terminal before enabling trading.

Which market and account type does FlyBrain use?

The developer recommends XAUUSD on a MetaTrader 5 hedging account and permits any chart timeframe. Other symbols, including silver, currencies and indices, are described as research and learning options. Check the supplied gold preset on your broker’s symbol before enabling trading.

Do I need an AI API key?

No. STANDARD assistance works offline without a key and explains FlyBrain’s own workflow. BOOSTED is optional and connects to a supported external provider using your credentials and MT5 WebRequest permissions. Any provider usage charges are separate from this purchase.

Does AI BUILD guarantee a better strategy?

No. AI BUILD searches settings and compares candidates with the core preset, including a check on data outside the initial search period. The panel can report BETTER, MIXED or CORE WINS. These are historical comparisons, not a guarantee of live results; save and demo-test the chosen preset.

Does FlyBrain use grid or martingale?

The developer states that it uses no grid, martingale or averaging, and that every order has a stop loss and take profit. These design claims do not remove trading risk. Verify position size, total exposure and the configured account limits on demo.

Can its prop firm guard ensure I pass a challenge?

No. Daily loss, maximum loss, profit target and weekend closing are operating controls. Check how they behave against your firm’s current rules, including floating loss, drawdown resets and other positions on the account. They do not guarantee compliance or a pass.
