Bollinger Piece Gold EA MT5 uses simultaneous MACD, Bollinger middle-band and ADX conditions to filter gold pattern entries. Liquidity sweeps, fair value gaps and candle structures form its opportunity set, with percentage-risk, exit and account-exposure controls in MetaTrader 5.
Directional filtering rather than a band-reversal grid rule
MACD supplies a crossover and histogram-direction check. The Bollinger component permits buys above the middle band and sells below it; ADX checks trend strength. The author says all three filters must align. This is a trend-direction use of Bollinger Bands, not the lower-band buy/upper-band sell reversal method of Bollinger Wave.
Sweeps and gaps join pin bars, engulfing and inside bars as possible entries. Range breakouts are active in TURBO mode. The patterns describe the author’s interpretation of price structure, not direct proof of institutional activity or independently validated high-probability signals.
Sizing and exposure controls
The source lists configurable risk percentage, automatic stop and target, a minimum risk/reward setting, trailing and break-even. It also includes daily-loss, free-margin, total-volume, simultaneous-position and maximum-spread controls. These fields serve different purposes; a per-trade percentage does not by itself cap the risk of every open position combined.
The ten-percent daily-loss reference and 0.10–0.20-lot examples are author settings, not a safe account prescription. Triggered exits only operate when their conditions are reached, and spread, gaps or slippage can affect the realized result. Check the active risk settings and actual order behavior before treating capital-preservation marketing as a measured outcome.
Preparing the selected gold chart
