Quant Lattice EA MT5 is an AUDCAD M30 mean-reversion system with layered positions and basket exits. Steady, Drive and Cruise offer different entry and management styles; Cruise adds basket trailing, while Drive can widen grid spacing when measured volatility rises.

Our assessment: it suits traders prepared to manage aggregate basket exposure rather than judge a strategy only by winning trades or closed profit. The main considerations are grid accumulation, actual protection settings and the distinction between each mode’s historical tests and public record. Sources were checked 31 October 2026; this is a source-based review, not a firsthand terminal test or an independently reproduced backtest.

Three modes around one currency pair

Dilwyn Tng describes AUDCAD as the sole target market, with entry thresholds responding to volatility and follow-up positions checked against current conditions. The developer’s mean-reversion rationale does not mean the pair must remain range-bound: a structural move can persist beyond a basket’s available margin or loss tolerance.

Steady is presented as patient and selective. Drive takes more opportunities and applies a volatility-based spacing adjustment. Cruise requires indicator confluence before entry and uses an adaptive trailing rule on the basket rather than relying only on a fixed target. These are intended strategy differences, not an independently verified risk ranking.

Layering increases exposure while awaiting reversion

The source’s own explanation refers to grid spacing and positions stacked into a basket. Exits are evaluated on the composite outcome, so a profitable close can include individual losing layers. Closed-profit curves and high win rates do not show the largest floating losses experienced before those exits.

Drive’s adjustment compares the recent three-day range with a trailing 100-day baseline and widens spacing when conditions qualify. This is described as condition-based rather than a hardcoded calendar of past crises. It can change when layers are added; it cannot guarantee that the next shock will resemble a tested event or that an existing basket will recover.

Read the actual reference settings

The four public preset examples were saved on 5 and 14 June 2026. Every file has NewsFilter_Enable=false, with Daily_DD_Pct, Max_DD_Pct and DDKillPct set to zero. These values do not substantiate assuming active percentage drawdown limits or automatic news avoidance. They are dated reference files, not verified current defaults.

All four also have AutoCompound=true. A FixLotSize=0.01 field does not by itself prove fixed-lot mode is selected: the money-management selector differs across examples, and its numeric labels should not be guessed. The overview lists basket TP/SL overrides, but the reference files do not establish their current operating state.

Three public MT5 accounts, three different samples

The records were checked on 31 October 2026. The source labels all three as MT5 Real Accounts. Drive and Steady use ICMarketsSC-MT5-2, while Cruise uses ICMarketsSC-MT5-3; all show 1:500 leverage. Each is a separate observation, not a controlled ranking at identical sizing.

Drive: separate the added capital from profit

Growth and cashflows
31.63% growth; $500 initial deposit plus $500 additional deposit and $241.49 profit. Balance $1,241.49; equity $1,240.22 at the source read.
Trades and drawdown
454 trades; profit factor 1.64. Relative balance DD 3.18% ($16.83), relative equity DD 7.14% ($76.33); maximal balance DD $16.80 (3.18%).
History labels
27 weeks displayed; Started field 21 May 2026 at 12:25:20.

The extra $500 is funding, not trading profit. The displayed growth calculation should not be replaced by a simplistic profit divided by all deposits. Equity was below balance, so closed profit did not capture all floating exposure.

Steady LowR: fewer trades, with floating losses

Growth and cashflows
20.95% growth; $500 initial deposit plus $104.68 profit, without added deposits or withdrawals. Balance $604.68; equity $601.59 at the source read.
Trades and drawdown
147 trades; profit factor 1.88. Relative balance DD 3.06% ($15.99), relative equity DD 9.17% ($49.93); maximal balance DD $16.13 (3.09%).

Trades and drawdown
55 trades; profit factor 2.43. Relative balance DD 2.16% ($7.03), relative equity DD 6.21% ($20.18); maximal balance DD $7.14 (2.19%).
History and activity
17 weeks displayed; Started field 1 July 2026 at 12:59:31. The source warns that only seven trades occurred in the last month.

Displayed weeks are account-history labels, not proof of continuous monitoring of one unchanged current build. Floating equity can change between the source read and browser capture. These realized samples do not establish maximum future basket exposure.

Capital figures need mode and sizing context

The mode summaries quote minimum deposits of $300 for Steady, $500 for Drive and $300 for Cruise, with recommended amounts of $500/$1,100/$500. The later recommendations table instead says $500/$1,000/$500 minimum. Those sections should not be merged into one unqualified minimum.

Capital must be assessed with lot size, leverage, broker contract details, open layers and the chosen loss controls. Higher leverage changes margin requirements; it does not remove market risk. The developer specifies a hedging account, low spread/slippage and preferably 1:100 or greater leverage, with 1:30 stated as the minimum.

Historical crisis claims are not an insurance policy

The public June archive contains materially larger simulated drawdowns than the live snapshots: the Steady Low Risk tester report shows 53.42% relative equity drawdown, versus 8.71% relative balance and a separate 33.27% maximal equity field. The Drive Aggressive report shows 91.18% relative equity drawdown, versus 13.62% relative balance and 14.08% maximal equity. These are developer historical simulations, not independently reproduced results or current 1.102 defaults. Smaller balance or maximal percentages must not replace the relative-equity figures.

The overview attributes Steady tests to 2020 onward and Drive/Cruise tests to 2015 onward, discussing named crises and recoveries. These are developer historical claims. Without independent reproduction, complete settings and matching prospective results, they should not be treated as proof of future crisis resistance or a guarantee that every drawdown will recover.

Keep the terminal operating on a stable connection or VPS. News/spread filters and basket controls need to be understood in the selected configuration rather than assumed to eliminate all exposure. Changing mode or money management can also change the sample being compared with a historical curve.

Release context and buyer feedback

The product was published on 5 June 2026. The 15 June notes add Cruise and consolidate three strategies; version 1.102, dated 14 October, fixes the dashboard drawdown display. A display fix is not evidence that the underlying trading risk or loss controls changed.

Petr Tesnar, 6 July 2026: the sole written buyer review praises performance and support, saying live outcomes matched demo and backtests. It also emphasizes broker execution and running your own tests. Those matching-results statements are customer opinion, not our independent verification, and the review predates the October display update.
