Golden Conqueror EA MT5 Review: Gold Scalping, Signal and Risk

By 7 min read

Golden Conqueror EA MT5 trades XAUUSD pivot breakouts with momentum and volume confirmation. The current developer setup specifies an M1 gold chart, a maximum of one open position and predefined exits with dynamic trailing.

Our assessment: the appeal is a focused, no-grid, no-martingale gold strategy with explicit per-position controls. It suits traders prepared to test spread, commission and fills at their own broker. Its strong tester statistics need to be assessed alongside the current signal’s risk and the settings changes made since the original test.

A breakout scalper with individual trade exits

Golden Conqueror’s overview describes pivot breakouts supported by momentum and volume surges. The stated design avoids grid and martingale, with no more than one open position at a time. That rules out the advertised recovery-basket style of trading, but a single gold position can still incur a substantial loss if its size is too large.

The overview specifies a 1,500-point stop loss, a calculated take profit and dynamic trailing. It also advertises virtual stealth orders, latency compensation and hardcoded broker profiles. Public descriptions do not provide a complete explanation of which exit instructions remain active without the terminal, so verify the operational behavior rather than assuming the term “hard stop” settles it.

The current attachment instruction is M1. Test that setup with the account and risk mode you intend to use, especially where a broker profile changes the handling of stops or execution. The developer’s “daily action” wording describes its intended activity, not a guaranteed trade count each day.

What the genuine tester report supports

Original Golden Conqueror MT5 Strategy Tester report showing profit factor 18.65 and relative equity drawdown 5.25 percent
Original developer-supplied MT5 tester report, retrieved October 1, 2026. XAUUSD M1 and June 30, 2026 are visible on the chart. Original capture date and exact build are unknown. A terminal’s live-server name does not make a Strategy Tester run live-money evidence.
History quality
99% shown in the report.
Starting deposit / net result
1,000.00 / 6,041.28 in the report’s account units.
Trades / winning trades
427 / 97.42%.
Profit factor / recovery factor
18.65 / 30.03.
Relative equity drawdown
5.25%, with 100.25 displayed for that measurement.
Maximal equity drawdown
201.15, with 3.71% shown beside it.
Average winner / loser
15.35 / −31.12.

The tester’s recovery factor of 30.03 explains the developer’s “30+” marketing statement for this run. It is not a live-account recovery guarantee. The average loss was about twice the average win, so the test’s 97.42% win rate played a large part in its favorable result.

Original Golden Conqueror Strategy Tester balance, equity and deposit-load graph

The distribution view shows entry and profit patterns by hour, weekday and month. It helps inspect the sample, but the public images do not supply a full reproducible preset or enough execution assumptions to confirm the claim of no curve fitting. A high history-quality percentage alone cannot establish that claim.

The linked signal and its account conditions

The overview identifies its linked signal as IC Markets RAW mode, while signal 2377803 is titled “Golden Conqueror EA ICMarkets STD.” Both references lead to the same account. The title alone does not establish which broker profile was used for every historical trade.

Its reused GoldenX avatar does not change the named account identity. Crop retains source title and broker; original preserved.
Account / leverage
MQL5 labels it a real account on ICMarketsSC-MT5-3, with 1:500 leverage.

The signal’s average loss was 9.62 USD against an average winner of 1.35 USD, with a worst trade of −20.15 USD. Its 90.98% win rate therefore needs to be read alongside the size of losses. The live signal’s profit and recovery factors are substantially below the historical tester report’s figures; the two are different samples and settings histories.

MQL5’s recent account notices flag concentrated growth. A September 16 notice states that 80% of growth came within two days, and another concentration notice appears on September 22. Earlier copying-slippage warnings were removed on September 16; their removal does not guarantee identical broker execution.

The signal started before the June 30 public product launch and spans later changes to trading styles, filters and broker modes. Its full history is useful context, but it should not be presented as a controlled test of the latest configuration alone. Balance and equity drawdowns are distinct measurements whose peaks can occur at different times; do not choose the smaller percentage as the account’s only risk figure.

Release changes matter when comparing records

The developer’s release notes document material trading controls, beyond cosmetic changes:

  • September 25, version 2.9: an IC Markets RAW/ECN mode was added.
  • September 17, version 2.7: FOMC and Fed-rate filtering was added.
  • August 24, version 2.5: a no-trade filter for a specific New York-session interval was added.
  • August 22, version 2.4: a Tight SL trading-style mode was added.
  • August 19, version 2.1: the developer added a Booster; the public note does not fully explain its logic.
  • July 28, version 1.7: Conservative and Aggressive trading styles were introduced.

Earlier notes also cover manual lots, a London’s Revenge strategy and changes to stops and trailing. The June tester images predate these additions. Keep a record of the actual version, profile and input set when comparing your tests with either the screenshots or the changing public signal.

In the public developer comments, a July 1 broker guide describes real-tick tests from January 1 to July 1, 2026, with a 1,000 USD deposit and 3% risk, comparing broker and account types. This adds context to the report, but is still the developer’s explanation without a complete reproducible preset.

A July 28 comment says Aggressive mode had only been backtested at that date and recommends Conservative. It does not establish the mode used in every current signal trade. The earlier standard-account preference also predates the September RAW/ECN addition; compare the actual broker profile rather than treating that old recommendation as evidence for all later modes. The developer separately documents an on-chart daily profit-and-loss calendar.

What the customer feedback does and does not show

Selected Golden Conqueror MQL5 review excerpt by Rafael Carassa dated July 1, 2026
Genuine MQL5 customer-feedback capture, October 1, 2026 at 01:31 UTC. Selected opening sentence of Rafael Carassa’s July 1, 2026 review; full browser original preserved. Early tester opinion, not independently verified performance or a CheaperForex verified-purchase rating.

The public MQL5 product reviews had two ratings, both dated July 1, 2026. Alexander Seidel left a rating without written commentary. Rafael Carassa wrote that he had participated in testing and then bought the released product. His opening says, I participated in the testing phase of Golden Conqueror.

That is positive early feedback about his experience, rather than a measured long-term account result. It predates the later broker modes and trading filters, and does not identify a broker, drawdown or reproducible input set. These third-party opinions are kept separate from CheaperForex verified-purchase reviews; their stars are not imported into our product rating.

No separate public user manual was linked in the inspected overview. The author’s profile links a Golden Hen preset; it is a different product and has not been represented as a Golden Conqueror preset.

Practical setup and the GoldenX comparison

The developer’s $200 minimum is an operating specification, not a recommended loss budget. Choose a risk percentage only after checking the gold contract size, stop distance, broker lot steps and minimum trade volume. A VPS target below 10 ms helps connectivity, but does not guarantee the same spread, commission or fills as the signal.

GoldenX EA MT5 is the same developer’s H1 gold breakout product. Its separate GoldenX review examines a much younger signal. Both descriptions are similar, so the public information does not establish independent entry logic or uncorrelated outcomes. Compare the actual settings and evidence rather than buying both on an assumption of diversification.

Golden Conqueror offers clearly described trade-management controls and more historical material than a strategy description alone. The next useful test is whether those controls and its current broker mode produce acceptable losses and execution costs under your own account conditions.
