GoldenX EA MT5 trades gold pivot breakouts, using momentum and volume surges to support entries. The developer recommends an H1 XAUUSD chart and describes a one-position, no-grid, no-martingale design with predefined exits and dynamic trailing.
Our assessment: its appeal is focused gold exposure with explicit per-trade sizing and exits. It suits traders who will test the actual gold contract and execution conditions. The main consideration is the evidence gap: its substantial historical tester result is accompanied by a public signal with only four trades at our check.

This review uses Taner Altinsoy’s GoldenX listing, its original gallery and the linked GoldenX MQL5 signal, checked October 1, 2026. We have not independently traded the supplied EA or reproduced its tests.
What the pivot breakout strategy is trying to capture
The overview describes entries around pivot breakouts, supported by momentum and volume surges. In practical terms, this is a gold price-movement strategy: it needs a breakout to develop far enough for its exit management to work. A failed breakout can trigger the stop even without grid or martingale.
The stated maximum is one open position at a time. That is useful for limiting concurrent trades within the described system, but the public material does not establish an account-wide limit across other EAs or several chart instances. Check aggregate gold exposure if you run other systems beside it.
H1 attachment does not mean hour-long trades
The current setup specifies H1. The four trades in the linked signal averaged six minutes, so the chart timeframe should not be confused with the expected holding period. A short holding period makes execution costs especially relevant: a small difference in entry or exit can matter even if the same chart signal is recognized.
GoldenX advertises latency compensation and virtual stealth orders. The public overview does not explain which orders are broker-held and which are managed in the terminal. Its separate hard-stop claim should therefore be verified against the loaded inputs and an actual test order, including what happens if the terminal loses connection.
The listing calls its stop 650 pips and target 1,500 pips. Preserve those source units when checking the offer, then translate them using your broker’s quotation and the EA’s actual inputs. Treating the numbers as points without verification can change the estimated price distance and monetary risk.
The original tester report

- History quality
- 99% shown in the report.
- Starting deposit / net result
- 1,000.00 / 20,173.71 in the report’s account units.
- Trades / winning trades
- 251 / 93.63%.
- Profit factor
- 6.12.
- Relative equity drawdown
- 10.53%, with 333.71 shown for that measurement.
- Maximal equity drawdown
- 779.48, with 3.99% shown beside it.
- Average winner / loser
- 102.60 / −246.08.
The simulated average loss was about 2.4 times the average win. Its high win rate matters to the reported result, and a period with more failed breakouts could alter that balance. The largest reported loss was 678.77, another reason to evaluate risk in money as well as in a win-rate percentage.
The two drawdown entries measure different points in the history: the largest monetary decline need not be the largest percentage decline. The report images do not disclose a complete input file, execution cost model or independently reproduced run, so their 99% quality label should not be treated as proof of future performance.

The curve provides context for the report’s growing account value and varying exposure. The distribution view below breaks out entries by hour, weekday and month; these are results for that test, not a commitment to trade on a particular future schedule.

The public signal is still a small sample
The developer’s actual signal link opens GoldenX, signal 2392639. Its overview link label refers to Golden Hen, but the destination and account title identify GoldenX. We use the linked GoldenX account here and have not transferred Golden Hen’s figures or preset.

- Account / leverage
- MQL5 labels it a real account on STARTRADERFinancial-Live 4, with 1:200 leverage.
- History
- Started September 23, 2026; one week displayed and three trading days at the October 1 check.
- Growth / trades
- 4.47% growth; four XAUUSD trades, all profitable at this observation.
- Starting deposit / equity
- 344.03 USD / 359.42 USD, with no later deposits or withdrawals displayed.
- Balance / equity drawdown
- 0.00% maximum balance drawdown; 2.82% relative equity drawdown, or 10.02 USD.
- Maximum deposit load
- 18.58%.

Four winning trades are too few to estimate the strategy’s losing periods. MQL5 explicitly warns about the small deal count, new account and low trading activity. The signal started before the September 29 public release, and the exact build and settings used throughout that history are not independently confirmed.
The zero balance-drawdown reading records the closed-trade balance; it does not erase the floating decline shown by equity drawdown. Deposit load describes margin usage, not the maximum possible loss. The account has not yet demonstrated how the setup behaves through a sustained sequence of failed breakouts.
Customer feedback and public documentation
GoldenX was published on September 29, 2026 and had no public product reviews at this check. The author’s wider catalog rating is not a GoldenX buyer rating, and we have not transferred it into CheaperForex reviews. No separate public user manual was linked in the overview; the setup information above comes from the product listing.
Compare the setup with Golden Conqueror
Golden Conqueror EA MT5 is another Taner Altinsoy gold breakout listing, with an M1 setup, a differently stated stop distance and a separate public signal. Read its Golden Conqueror review for that evidence. Similar strategy descriptions mean ownership of both does not by itself establish diversification.
For GoldenX, start by saving the input set, checking gold lot and stop calculations, then comparing demo fills and costs with the conditions you expect to use. Its predefined exits are a useful control framework; the very young public record still leaves long-run behavior untested.
