Perceptrader AI Review: MT4 vs MT5, Signals and Risk

By 4 min read

Perceptrader AI uses AI-filtered grid trading on six Forex pairs. Perceptrader offers extensive portfolio and grid controls for traders who understand averaging exposure. Its public MT4 account adds useful evidence, but the AI label does not make a grid safe or establish that MT5 will reproduce the same result.

How the strategy works

The suggested chart is AUDCAD M5, with the other required symbols available in Market Watch. Risk settings can restrict simultaneous symbols, directional currency exposure, lot size, free margin and strategy/account drawdown. Some drawdown checks are timed rather than continuous unless the every-tick option is selected. Grid baskets can expand during a persistent move, so an AI entry filter should not be treated as a loss cap.

  • Six-pair portfolio: NZDUSD, USDCAD, AUDNZD, AUDCAD, NZDCAD and GBPCHF.
  • Neural-network filtering alongside trend, momentum and volatility controls.
  • Grid exposure controls for lot sizes, currency concentration, free margin and drawdown.

MT4 or MT5: choosing the edition

The MT4 edition is the relevant choice for an existing MetaTrader 4 setup. The developer’s currently linked public account also runs MT4, although its particular Unique Mode and AI-filter settings are not proof of every preset. Check the selected pair set, lot progression and currency concentration before moving from a demo test to a funded account.

An MT5 netting account is not a substitute for the specified hedging account. The listing also documents MT5-only strategy-tester withdrawal settings, which affect simulated capital handling rather than promising automatic withdrawals from a live brokerage account. Test the intended MT5 configuration rather than assuming the linked MT4 account will reproduce on another platform.

The platform choice does not create a different economic edge. Compare like-for-like symbols, settings, account rules and execution costs. Keep each edition’s testing and results separate.

Current public signal: what it shows

The current linked account, PAI Unique Mode No Limits with AI Filter, is MT4 and is labelled real on ICEMarkets-Server. On 15 September 2026 it displayed 344.52% growth, 17.06% relative balance drawdown and 17.94% equity drawdown. Balance was USD11,142.83 against equity of USD11,140.53, after a USD5,000 initial deposit and USD8,000 of withdrawals.

Genuine MQL5 account-page capture, 15 September 2026. The linked account runs MT4; see the discussion of monitoring history and risk.

The page shows trading history from 2019 but monitoring started on 8 April 2023. Those are different dates: the full displayed history was not continuously observed from inception by this signal listing. Also, ICEMarkets-Server is the exact server label shown; it should not be silently renamed IC Markets. The account uses a particular mode and filter combination. Compare current trades and settings before treating its numbers as representative of another preset or MT5.

What buyer reviews say

The April 2026 MT5 review shown below praises the adjustable risk settings and reports a profitable year. Other buyers favour the filter and trading behaviour. There is also an older complaint about support response time, to which the developer replied offering contact and assistance. These accounts are useful buyer experiences, but neither praise nor the word “safe” in a review is a verified limit on grid losses.

Backtests and older gallery evidence

The developer supplies the following test curve and report. They are useful for seeing the style of testing, but modelling, data quality, settings and execution assumptions can differ from a real account. They are kept distinct from the current signal captures above.

Guide and release history

The current release history includes a February 2026 terminal-compatibility change and a July 2025 neural-network retraining update. The public setup PDF dates from 2023, so it is useful for understanding the controls but not a current-build identifier. Developer-direct package extras mentioned in that PDF are not automatically included with this offer.

Before running it

Start with a demo test of the exact broker, account and preset. Review open exposure as well as closed balance. Define an affordable loss limit and verify which controls close existing trades versus only prevent new entries. A backtest, an AI label or a public account is not a guarantee that those limits will hold through gaps and slippage.

Other systems from the same developer

Valeriia Mishchenko also develops Night Hunter Pro MT5 (review), Golden Pickaxe MT5 (review). Compare their different strategy risks rather than assuming a shared author means identical behaviour.
