Quick Summary:
Osloma Gold for MT5 by Uttam Kumar Nandeibam is a XAUUSD-only Expert Advisor that pairs multi-timeframe market-structure analysis with a structured four-level grid-recovery system. The engine identifies pullback entries during momentum continuation, then manages exposure across a basket of up to four grid levels — with a predefined hard stop-loss applied to every basket for controlled risk. The system uses no martingale and no exponential lot multiplication. A real-money MQL5 live signal published by the developer has been running since February 2026.

Why Osloma Gold
- Gold specialist — designed exclusively for XAUUSD, not a multi-symbol system stretched to fit Gold
- Market-structure based — multi-timeframe pullback entries during momentum continuation, rather than indicator-stack noise
- Structured four-level grid — controlled basket exposure with a maximum of four grid levels per entry set
- Hard stop-loss on every basket — predefined max basket loss for explicit risk control
- No martingale, no exponential lot multiplication — the developer is explicit on this; the most dangerous grid habits are excluded
- Flexible lot sizing — choose fixed-lot or equity-based autolot to match your risk model
- Public MQL5 live signal — real-money transparent monitoring on IC Markets
- Timeframe-independent — multi-timeframe scanning runs internally; attach to any chart timeframe
How Osloma Gold Works
Osloma Gold reads gold across multiple timeframes to identify pullback entries during momentum continuation phases — the spots where price has retraced into a structural zone but the dominant move is still intact. When conditions align, the EA opens an initial position. If price moves further against the entry, it adds up to three additional positions at calculated intervals, building a basket of up to four trades total per signal set.
Two design choices distinguish this from the typical gold grid. First, lot sizing across the four levels stays flat — there is no exponential lot multiplication. Four 0.01 entries stay four 0.01 entries, not 0.01 → 0.02 → 0.04 → 0.08. Second, every basket is wrapped in a predefined maximum hard stop-loss, so the worst-case loss per basket is bounded rather than open-ended. The combination — bounded basket, no lot escalation — is what the developer means by “no martingale” and it’s a meaningful distinction from grids that average into oblivion.
The trade-off, honestly noted: it is still a grid, so floating drawdown is part of how the strategy operates while baskets are open. The hard SL caps the worst case; conservative sizing manages the everyday case.

Risk Disclaimer
Osloma Gold is a grid trading system for XAUUSD. Even with a hard per-basket stop-loss and no exponential lot multiplication, grid systems can produce significant floating drawdown during adverse price movement while baskets are open, and Gold is subject to sharp news-driven volatility (NFP, CPI, FOMC, geopolitical events) that can stretch baskets beyond normal parameters. The developer’s live signal runs an aggressive leverage profile that most buyers should not replicate without thinking carefully about sizing. Backtest results are theoretical and not live results. Match your risk-per-basket setting to your account size, give the account meaningful headroom, do not manually close baskets during drawdowns, test on demo on your intended broker first, and never deploy capital you cannot afford to lose. Past performance — backtest or live — does not guarantee future results.
